Konsten att sälja utan att ropa ”KOM OCH KÖP!” : Att genomföra content marketing på sociala medier / The art of selling without Shouting ”COME BUY!” : Implementing content marketing on social media

Larsson, Anna, Tallberg, Linn January 2019 (has links)
Content marketing is a phenomenon that has grown and has become a trend, due to the vast availability of the information that the online environment has contributed to companies. What content marketing is involving has proved to be insufficient among researchers, as there is no clear academic delimitation. The definition of the content marketing phenomenon is many, and researchers express this differently when describing what content marketing means. How content marketing on social media is used and what is important to convey through content marketing also differs from company to company. However, several researchers agree that a strategy is important in the creation of content marketing on social media. The main purpose of this paper is to create a nuanced depiction of content marketing on social media. This is because there is disagreement about the meaning of content marketing in the research area. The delimitation of this paper to social media has been done because of the online environment is a too wide field for the size and time allocated for this paper. A qualitative small-N-study has been conducted with interviews of companies. In order to be able to answer this paper purpose through the companies' descriptions of their structure of content marketing on their social media. Thematic analysis has been used to identify recurring themes from the collected material from the companies The results of this paper show that the process for how content marketing on social media is used is governed by what goals companies have, and what dimensions companies consider most important in a specific campaign. However, the number of steps in the process as a whole is not affected by the number of goals or the number of dimensions but differs from company to company. And that social media contributed to new findings in the process. Thus, content marketing on social media is a complex work.

Developing pedagogical content knowledge for the teaching of meiosis: a self-study

Kaseke, David 03 1900 (has links)
Research Report submitted to the Faculty of Science, University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, in Partial Fulfilment of the Requirements for the Degree of Master of Science (Science Education). 2015. / In my Honours degree, I researched on learners’ understanding of meiosis after I had taught them the topic. The study was done on three schools. The results of the study revealed that the majority of learners from my school were unable to identify and explain some concepts in meiosis. The failure of the learners to understand the topic prompted me to reflect on my content knowledge of meiosis and its teaching. To investigate my own content knowledge in this self-study, I used concept maps and CoRes. Concept maps were seeking to develop my content knowledge and CoRes were seeking to develop both content knowledge and pedagogy of teaching meiosis. The aim of the self-study was therefore to improve my content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of meiosis through the use of concept maps and CoRes as planning tools. The development of content knowledge and pedagogy was done with the help of collaborative friends. Of the two planning tools I used (concept maps and CoRes), three concept maps and three CoRes were constructed. Each of the concept maps was analysed using number of concepts identified and the number of propositions. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to analyse the concept maps. The number of both concepts and propositions gave an indication of the development of content knowledge from one concept map to the other. CoRes were analysed qualitatively using a framework. The framework used focused on curricular saliency, student prior knowledge, what makes the topic difficult or easy, teaching strategies and representations. From these aspects of the framework, the teachers’ content knowledge and pedagogy was identified to see whether there was development from one CoRe to the other. The study revealed that both concept maps and CoRes when used as planning tools can develop the teachers’ content knowledge and pedagogy on meiosis. Concept maps helps to indentify content gaps and misconceptions. CoRes helped me in the identification of the big ideas for the teaching of meiosis, the content which learners need to know and the identification of teaching strategies which can help the topic to be understood better. Recommendations from the study were that teachers should read about what they teach to improve content knowledge. Teachers should team up to produce teaching tools like CoRes.

Effect of iron redistribution in soils on cesium magnetometer surveys at the Oregon State University research dairy

Rogers, Michael 02 May 2003 (has links)
Contamination events at Oak Creek, which runs through Oregon State University Research lands, prompted investigations into alternate transport mechanisms for moving liquid effluent from OSU Diary lands to Oak Creek. Magnetometer surveys conducted at the Diary identified magnetic signatures spatially associated with sub-surface locations of drain tiles, a 12-inch pipe, and other features. These pipes may provide alternate methods of transporting effluent to Oak Creek. Magnetometer surveys in support of the contamination study identified an interesting variability in the Earth's local magnetic field. Magnetic signatures spatially associated with drain tiles appear strong in the western portion of the site, but fade out in the eastern part of the site. The cause of this variability was investigated by examining soil iron distributions. The Field-scale soil iron distribution was determined using a colorimetric analysis of extractions obtained from soil core samples. This study shows larger concentrations of iron in the western portion of the site where the magnetic signal is strong and lower concentrations of iron where the magnetic signal is lower. Tile-scale iron distribution over the drain tiles and in control units were analyzed using the same colorimetric technique. This study identified a disturbance to the natural iron distribution over the tile in the western part of the site due to soil mixing in the back-filled tile trench resulting in a contrast in the magnetic data. In the eastern part of the site, where there is no magnetic signature associated with the tile, the iron distribution over the tile looks similar to the control unit results. Analysis of the soils determined that excavating during tile installation disturbed soil horizons, but the iron has redistributed itself to the pre-tile configuration effectively erasing the magnetic contrast that existed shortly after tile installation. This project has shown that iron redistribution can adversely affect the ability of magnetometer surveys to identify drain tiles. This project also demonstrates that soils must be looked at as dynamic systems rather than the more common static system approach when evaluating the success of magnetometer surveys. Applying a dynamic view of soils can help ground-based remote sensing surveyors avoid costly, unproductive surveys. / Graduation date: 2003

In our study, we have carried out a comparison between four Swedish higher education establishments and their respective teacher training programmes. The purpose of this study is to examine how the term "intercultural" is applied in the written guidelines for the Educational Science courses at the following institutions; Södertörns University Collage, Stockholm Institute of Education, Luleå University of Technology and Malmö University. We have used a method of content analysis to identify intercultural content in the respective universities guidelines regarding their Educational Science courses. Through our analysis of the written guidelines, we have reached the conclusion that Södertörn University College has the most markers of intercultural content, whereas the other Universities in our study showed somewhat similar results in the identifications of intercultural content and focused on other central words and expressions.
