This study investigates the relationship between ordinary continuity and t-continuity.

The elementary notion of a function originated in the work of mathematicians of the seventeenth century, and was somewhat closely connected with investigations in the field of algebra. This paper will be concerned with an investigation of a generalized type of continuity known as semi-continuity.

The primary purpose of this thesis is to determine whether or not time perspective can be represented by a relatively simple unitary measure in the form of a questionnaire. More specifically, the aim is to determine whether or not time perspective can be represented as a scalable attitude in accordance with the Guttman scalogram model.

Semicontinuity, a concept credited to Baire by Edgar Phillips, is an important generalization of the definition of continuity and can be obtained by dropping a portion of the requirements imposed upon a continuous function. A new class of functions, called somewhat e-continuous functions, has been defined and studied by making use of e-open sets. Characterizations and properties of somewhat e-continuous functions are presented.

Published Article / This study investigated the different business continuity risks organisations face and the existence of business continuity plans to address and manage these risks. The study found that although the majority of organisations are aware of the business continuity risks that they are faced with, not all fully understand the impact thereof on their organisations, and accordingly do not have effective and adequate business continuity plans in place to address and manage these risks. Also, not all organisations are placing enough emphasis on the establishment of a business continuity culture within their organisations to support their business continuity philosophy and plan.

This paper is a discussion of multifunctions, various types of continuity defined on multifunctions, and implications of continuity for the range and domain sets of the multifunctions.
