Starting from the transformations of capitalist agriculture and the world of work this goal was divided into two complementary analytical perspectives, the first boils down to understanding how the agribusiness expresses the current ideology of capitalism in the countryside and the school uses space to persuade and convince society that their particular values are universal. The completion of this stage of the research occurred through examination of two projects developed in basic education in the area of study: Agribusiness Project at the School of the Brazilian Agribusiness Association of Ribeirão Preto (ABAG- RP) and the Project AGORA of Industry Union sugar cane (UNICA). In a second step we investigated whether the material conditions for the expansion of higher education in agribusiness and pedagogical proposals that give them support, based on the proposed curriculum degree in Agribusiness Technology in the Faculty of Technology of the State of São Paulo - FATEC. The research was grounded in the dialectical historical materialism in all its stages, from the analysis of the development of capitalism in the countryside in the region of Ribeirão Preto, passing through the understanding of the concept of ideology in the writings of Marx and Engels, Lenin, Gramsci and Althusser to the examining the relationship between work and education. The results show a new phase of development of capitalist relations of production, with further deepening of the contradictions and inequalities in the field. In this sense, agribusiness looking through different ideological apparatuses, including education ensure social support to continue having access to state credit and infrastructure policies. In addition, these changes are require technical training and special professional for the activities of the sector, whose state's role is crucial in the internalization of the costs of reproduction of the classification of a diverse workforce and ideologically subject to the rule of capital. / A presente dissertação teve como objetivo central entender a relação entre o agronegócio e a educação, tomando como recorte territorial a região de Ribeirão Preto SP. Partindo das transformações da agricultura capitalista e do mundo do trabalho este objetivo desdobrou-se em duas perspectivas analíticas complementares, a primeira, resume-se em entender como o agronegócio expressa a atual ideologia do capitalismo no campo e utiliza o espaço escolar para persuadir e convencer a sociedade de que os seus valores particulares, são universais. A realização desta etapa da pesquisa ocorreu por meio do exame de dois projetos desenvolvidos na educação básica na região de estudo: o Projeto Agronegócio na Escola da Associação Brasileira do Agronegócio de Ribeirão Preto (ABAG-RP) e o Projeto AGORA da União da Indústria de cana-de-açúcar (UNICA). Em um segundo momento investigou-se as condições materiais para a expansão de cursos superiores em agronegócio e as propostas pedagógicas que lhes dão sustentação, com base na proposta curricular do curso superior de Tecnologia em Agronegócio da Faculdade de Tecnologia do Estado de São Paulo FATEC. A pesquisa esteve alicerçada no materialismo histórico dialético em todas as suas etapas, desde a análise do desenvolvimento do capitalismo no campo na região de Ribeirão Preto, perpassando pela compreensão do conceito de ideologia nos escritos de Marx e Engels, Lênin, Gramsci e Althusser até o exame da relação trabalho e educação. Os resultados mostram uma nova fase de desenvolvimento das relações capitalistas de produção, com maior aprofundamento das contradições e desigualdades no campo. Nesse sentido, o agronegócio procura por meio de diferentes aparelhos ideológicos, entre eles a educação garantir o apoio social para continuar tendo acesso a políticas estatais de crédito e infraestrutura. Além disso, estas transformações passam demandar formações técnicas e profissionais diferenciadas para as atividades do setor, cujo papel do Estado é fundamental na internalização de parte dos custos da reprodução da qualificação de uma força de trabalho diversificada e ideologicamente submetida ao domínio do capital.
