Právní úprava postavení politických stran v ČR / Legal regulation of the status of political parties in the Czech RepublicHoloubek, Tomáš January 2021 (has links)
1 Abstract The aim of the thesis is to present a comprehensive picture of the legal regulation governing the status and activities of political parties in the Czech Republic, to point out its weaknesses and, where appropriate, to present de lege ferenda proposals. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part deals with the general development of modern political parties and the reasons that led to their institutionalization. Then, it presents the development of the legal regulation of political parties in the Czech lands, starting with the revolutionary events of 1848 and 1849 and ending with the establishment of the independent Czech Republic. The quasi-institution of political movements, whose presence in the legal system cannot be defended in any way, is also presented. The second part deals with the constitutional incorporation of political parties. At the constitutional level, the privileged role of political parties in the political system is explicitly recognised. Safeguards for the free development of political parties are enshrined here, but also their obligation to respect fundamental democratic principles. The third part deals with the legal regulation of the most important aspects of the life of political parties - the issues of their formation and dissolution, the regulation of...

Trends and patterns of cancer mortality in Kazakhstan in comparison with some selected European countries from 1986 to 2008 Abstract This thesis primarily addresses mortality patterns and trends by main causes of death and by major neoplasms in Kazakhstan in comparison with the selected European countries: the Czech Republic, France and Sweden during 1986-2008. Within the whole group of main causes of death, the changes of mortality levels in different groups of neoplasms are analyzed. The analysis is accompanied with the comparison of mortality levels from major neoplasms within the selected countries. Afterwards the thesis focuses on cancer causes and risk factors in the countries under observation. The analysis concludes that the current mortality situation in Kazakhstan follows up long term adverse mortality trends of the past two decades and neoplasms remain an important public health problem in Kazakhstan. Key Words: mortality, cancer, malignant neoplasms, cause of death, standardized mortality rates, comparison, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, France, Sweden

Komáří flaviviry v České republice / Mosquito flaviviruses in the Czech RepublicMajerová, Karolina January 2016 (has links)
Flaviviruses (genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae) includes a number of medically and veterinary important arboviruses. Most of them are transmitted by mosquitoes, such as West Nile virus, yellow fever virus, dengue virus or Zika virus. In the last decade, there has been discovered number of flaviviruses which have not known vertebrate host. They are called insect-specific flaviviruses (ISFs). These viruses have been detected in dipteran insects (mostly in mosquitoes) from all over the world. It seems they induce no pathogenic changes even in insect and they are not able to infect any vertebrate cells. However in some recent studies has been shown that some ISFs could influence the replication of other medically important flaviviruses in mosquito cells. In addition, they probably represent an ancestrial lineage of the family Flaviviridae and further studies focused on them could help to clarify which characteristics of flaviviruses enable them to infect vertebrates. There is not a lot of information about the ecology of ISFs and it is suggested that most ISFs have not been discovered yet. Main goal of this thesis was to detect ISFs in mosquitoes in the Czech Republic, where have not been made any exstensive research of these viruses yet. In case of discover some undiscribed ISFs we wanted to characterize...

Beavers are members of Castoridae - the family of large rodents characterized by a robust skull of sciuromorphic type, a sciurognathous mandible, dentition with a tendency to hypsodoncy and incisives by uniserial microstructure. The aim of the thesis is a detailed morphometric analysis of the fossil material of beavers coming from the early Miocene (MN 3a) locality Ahníkov I, II in the Czech Republic. In the numerous material comprising 388 fragmentary specimens, all belonging to the genus Steneofiber, two distinct species were distinguished, attributed here as - Steneofiber eseri (the larger form) and Steneofiber aff. dehmi (the smaller form). Their taxonomy, systematics and assumed position within existing phylogenetic models were discussed. Key words: Castoridae, Steneofiber, Czech republic, Ahníkov, MN 3, early Miocene
