Pragmatický lematizátor českých slov / Pragmatic lemmatizer of Czech language

This thesis is focused on lemmatizing of nouns and adjectives. It is based on morphology of Czech language. The goal is to create a lemmatizer which can stem words with success rate 90% (at least). At the same time the lemmatizer should be very easy, it should consist as little rules as possible. Lemmatizer will be created to work with real estate adverts, especially houses for sale. In this thesis there will be made an analysis of specific characters of this area. Lemmatizer will be created according to results of this analysis. Lemmatizer was written in Java. Only three types of rules were used and generally the lemmatizer created correct stems in 96.4% of all words.

Komunikační chování žáků a učitele na základní škole speciální / Communicative behaviour of pupils and a teacher in a primary special pedagogical school

(in English) The aim of this diploma thesis is focused on observation of communication behaviour between the teacher and pupils with autistic disorder spectrum and mental disability from the special primary school. The research is based on the analysis of audio recordings of verbal communication of pedagogical team and pupils. The nonverbal phenomena of this communication which were recorded by researcher is appended to this analysis. The thoretical part consists the information of mental disability and its etiology and classification as well as the information of autistic disorder spectrum and its etiology, classification and characteristic problematic domains. The most comprehensive part of this thesis deals with disruption of communication between children with autistic disorder spectrum. I also describe the pedagogical communication on the special primary school. The experimental part consists the analysis of communication behaviour of the teachers and pupils with mental disability and autistic disorder spectrum which was observed during five lessons of language education. The research also consists the analysis of two works heets which were worked out by pupils with autistic disorder spectrum and mental disability.

Anna Jagošová, Současný dětský folklor Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the current form of children's verbal folklore. It focuses specifically on children's games, , taunts and marginally rhymes and songs with a steady and mostly rhyme structure. The aim of this thesis is to compare the expression of current children's verbal folklore with the expression of traditional children's verbal folklore. Describe their characteristics and compare with the already proposed categorization (Jelínková, 1952, Tucker, 2008), or eventually propose own categorization, and primarily to analyze the expression of children's verbal folklore in terms of the Czech language. Attention will be also paid to the context of children's folklore expressions in the school environment, whether as part of teaching or a leisure activity. The diploma thesis aims to follow current (and traditional) children's folklore interdisciplinary insert of Czech studies and ethnology. Due to ongoing exceptional situation related to Covid - 19 pandemic which limits the possibilities of field research, the main starting material is the already existing collections of children's folklore, especially sources published in books (eg. This thesis is devoted to the visual components of textbooks of Czech for foreigners. The five selected textbooks are investigated incidence of certain types of visual components, their position in the textbooks and the frequency of occurrence of these types. The aim of this work is to determine what specific visual aids in textbooks Czech for foreigners appear and whether they are used functionally or not, and give an idea of the form of the visual component of textbooks Czech for foreigners. The questionnaire, which was attended by teachers of Czech as a foreign language, should contribute to this outline. Their task was to evaluate the visual amenities of textbooks Czech for foreigners who are most frequently used in teaching. The first chapter is devoted to the textbook as a didactic resource function including textbooks in foreign language teaching and research textbooks at home and abroad. Attention is focused on the design concept of visual means to learning from visual material and finally the creation of categorical systems under which they were selected textbooks analyzed. Mgr. Veronika Štěpánová Czech orthoepic codification Abstract This doctoral thesis deals with the codification of standard Czech pronunciation. It focuses on how the phonetic level of the language is studied and described and, more generally, on orthoepic codification, its criteria, sources, relationship to orthography, etc. A historical overview of Czech orthoepic research, in particular of the first attempts at codification, work carried out for the orthoepic manuals Výslovnost spisovné češtiny I (ed. B. Hála; 1955, 1967) and Výslovnost spisovné češtiny II (ed. M. Romportl; 1978) is presented. In addition, research into standard Czech pronunciation from the 1980s to the present day is summarised from a new perspective. The primary focus of the thesis is a critical analysis of the principal Czech orthoepic manuals: not only Výslovnost spisovné češtiny I and II but also some older and newer works. Special attention is given to features (1) whose evaluation has changed over time (e.g. the pronunciation of mě and sh, the use of the glottal stop, simplification of certain consonant clusters, or voice assimilation before sonorants) and (2) which are problematic form the point of view of the contemporary pronunciation norm. The dissertation called the Method of Integration of Valency Syntax into the Czech Language Teaching within Lower Secondary Education deals with the issue of valency syntax in relation to syntax teaching within lower secondary education. The main goal of the dissertation is to describe, specify and define the principles, which serve as the basis for the integration of the valency theory into the Czech language teaching within lower secondary education with regard to pupils' concepts of the structure of a Czech sentence. In its three main parts, the dissertation informs the reader about the development of the perception of the valency syntax as a scientific discipline in the Czech and foreign environment, as the didactic transformation of the curriculum must be always based on scientific theories and comply with them; the second part of the thesis analyses the didactically transformed curriculum of valency syntax in teaching materials intended for lower secondary education. The objective of the diploma thesis Preconception of the Syntactic Relations of Coordiantion, Aposition and Dominance at Elementary School is to discover whether pupils in the 5th , 6th and 7th grade of elementary school are able to distinguish syntactic relations. At first, the issue of the preconception is defined in the context of constructivist teaching concept, which works with the preconceptions actively. After that, the concept of syntactic relations is described in linguistic literature and textbooks, Framework Educational Programme, and methodological publications. A research tool which consists of special prepared exercises for the research purpose of this thesis was used to investigate the preconception of syntactic relations. The pupils did these exercises individually. By means of semi-structured dialogues it was investigated, how were the pupils thinking during the work. The dialogues were recorded, transcribed and analysed. The research sample comprised of 35 pupils from the 5th to 7th grade of a Prague elementary school. The aim of this Master thesis is to present language situation in relation to mother tongue of students of Czech school without borders (abbreviated as CSBH Paris). The thesis is divides into two parts -theoretical and practical. In the first part, we define terms such as mother tongue, the first language and the second (foreign) language. This thesis deal with bilingualism and multilingualism, which are important for determination of the target group of pupils of the CSBH Paris. With use of questionnaires applied on students and parents we can determine specific czech-french bilingualism of students of CSBH Paris. In the second part we analyze educational materials - textbooks that are used by teachers at CSBH Paris, and at the end we get to the subject of your practical research, outline specific teaching methods and design teaching materials that can be used in Czech language classes with regard to linguistic reality of pupils in the second grade of the Czech School without borders Paris. Komunikace lektorů při doučování českého jazyka / Communication of lecturers during private tutoring in Czech language

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of communication in private tutoring of the Czech language (especially the analysis of communication of lecturers). The analysis is based on five recordings of private tutoring. The thesis in the theoretical part summarizes the existing knowledge about private tutoring and about communication in school, such as verbal and nonverbal communication of teachers and of students or typical communication structure used in school education. In the practical part, the thesis analyzes the communication in private tutoring in the Czech language based on recordings of lecturers and their students visiting the second primary school level or similar years of multi-year grammar school. The thesis according to the analyzed material describes verbal and nonverbal communication of lecturers and students in private tutoring, then focuses on communication structure in private tutoring, i. e. questions of lecturers, student answers and feedback of lecturers. Knowledge about communication in private tutoring is then compared with communication in school. In the end, the thesis focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of online form of private tutoring based on analyzed recordings and interviews with lecturers.

Slovesné morfologické kategorie v učebnicích českého jazyka / Verbal morphological categories in Czech language textbooks

The diploma thesis focuses on the rendition of verbal morphological categories in selected Czech language textbooks for primary and secondary schools. The aim of the thesis is (1) to analyse the area of morphological categories of verbs in respective textbooks, (2) to find out how this area is didactically transformed in relation to specialized and theoretical approach and (3) to assess whether the content is approached appropriately with respect to the subject correctness. The first part of the thesis summarizes the existing theoretical knowledge of pedagogical research of textbooks with the support of selected empirical studies. The second part introduces verbal morphological categories by presenting specialized concepts in several grammars and manuals of Czech linguistics. The third part contains the research itself: using the method of qualitative content analysis, it observes the transfer of educational content with regard to the specialized interpretations of the relevant area defined in the second part.
