Vzdálené monitorování objektu / Remote Object Monitoring

Šorčík, Ladislav January 2009 (has links)
The goal of the project was to create independent system, which is able to supervise remote site using Ethernet network. It can measure temperature and check state of door magnetic contact. Gained information are sent over network to the cenral node, which is able to present them on web page. In the project are also discussed important network protocols needed for implementation of the system, hardware used for implementation and software of the system.

Návrh a realizace stavebnice pro výuku a vývoj aplikací s jednočipovými mikropočítači rodiny Atmel AVR / Design and implementation of modules for teaching and developing applications with microcontroller Atmel AVR

LANGMAJER, Miroslav January 2012 (has links)
This thesis is based on the design and production of teaching kits with expansion modules which are based on the Atmel AVR microcontroller. Kit consists of a plate containing processes and basic power modules directly on the board and expansion modules "SIMAČ". "SIMAČ" modules are virtual elements that simulate the real elements and they are commonly used in industrial automation. Because of their cost they are integrated in extension kit as programmable modules. It also contains basic theoretical information about working with ATMEL AVR microcontrollers. Expansion modules with module development board and disc which will be loaded all the schemes, programs and technical documentation for individual districts will be attached to the thesis.

Bezdrátová telemetrie pro létající objekt / Wireles Flying Object Telemetry

Bednář, Martin January 2014 (has links)
This paper is engaged in specification, design and implementation of a telemetry module for flying object. Specifically, it focuses on the selection of the appropriate carrier frequency of the integrated circuit providing bidirectional communication to a sufficient distance and design of the protocol used in the transmission. Furthermore, the document focuses on the design of communication modules using these integrated circuits, altimeter sensor module, module to control the actuators and design of the application for mobile phones used to display the measured data. With regard to legislative and technical options, I chose a carrier frequency of 2.4 GHz. For this frequency is commercially available integrated circuit CC2511, which in cooperation with integrated circuit CC2591 should be able to provide telemetry range about 2 km. I chose BMP085 sensor for altitude measuring. It is communicating over I2C bus as well as a module for controlling the actuator, which uses a microcontroller ATMEGA48-20AU. The mobile phone communicates with the ground station via the USB bus.

Overheat protection for immersion heaters : Analysis of analog and digital temperature sensors

Helmisaari, Tina January 2018 (has links)
Immersion heaters are used by industries to heat fluids. The element of an immersion heater need to be fully immersed into the heated liquid, otherwise it could be subject to overheat. The main purpose of this thesis is to find a temperature sensor, which could signal in case the immersion heater is at risk to suffer from overheat due to low liquid level. A comparison of accuracy, size and cost between an analog and a digital sensor is held, to conclude whether either one is at an advantage for this application. An immersion heater with ceramic element and quartz glass tube and a water tank, both provided by Scandymet, is used during experiments. First, the position for the sensor inside the heater was examined, by placing the sensor at different positions. Next, measurements of the operating temperature of the immersion heater were made at different liquid levels. This resulted in a placement for the sensor near the head of the immersion heater and an approximate temperature range from 41 ℃ to 58 ℃. Both the analog and digital sensors is chosen with measurable ranges to match the result from previous experiments. A thermistor along with a linearizing series resistor make the analog design and a DS18B20+ with a pull-up resistor the digital design. The microcontroller for both designs is Adafruit Feather Adalogger M0, which is programmed in C/C++ using Arduino IDE software. It is concluded that it is possible to signal in case liquid level decrease below minimum level, by inserting a temperature sensing device into the immersion heater. The sensor should be placed above the maximum liquid level mark, close to the head of the heater. The analog design would be recommended as overheat protection, due to its smaller size, less expensive and, with further calibration, accurate response.

Multifunční monitorovací pás / Multifunctional monitoring belt

Dítě, Martin January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to develop a wireless monitoring belt based on literature review. The belt will be capable of scanning heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, motion, position, and falling of the user. Another aim is to also design a software for data reception and analysis focusing on pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature alarms.

Univerzální řídicí jednotka solárních kolektorů / Versatile Control Unit of Solar Collectors

Tříska, Vít January 2010 (has links)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of a versatile control unit, which is primarily designed for control of solar collectors. It describes the various stages of design. First, the system of solar collectors is introduced. Its input-output parts are analyzed and the requirements are determined for the control unit. The characteristics of temperature sensors are examined, the work deals with continuous variable speed circulators. The following part is dedicated to hardware and software implementation of the objectives of the work. The boards were designed in Eagle design environment, the firmware was written in C programming language. In conclusion, the evaluation of the results of the proposed system and possible ways of its further development are discussed. The versatile control unit can be deployed in practice realistically.
