La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo explorar cuáles son las repercusiones del desempleo en jóvenes de Lima. Particularmente, para el caso peruano resulta importante estudiar esta variable porque en los últimos trimestres el porcentaje de desempleo ha ido creciendo y la población joven representa el porcentaje más alto. El método de investigación planteado fue cualitativo y permitió identificar, a través de entrevistas, un conjunto de repercusiones del desempleo agrupadas en cuatro categorías: repercusiones negativas a nivel afectivo, ideas negativas en relación al autoconcepto, repercusiones negativas a nivel de comportamiento y limitaciones económicas para el bienestar. Estos resultados, en concordancia con investigaciones en otros países, muestran que estar en desempleo afecta el bienestar psicológico de la juventud e incluso puede influir en la salud mental del individuo. Por ello, resulta importante facilitar espacios que permitan la ayuda psicosocial de la persona desempleada con el fin de reducir los costes psicológicos del desempleo. / The object of this study was explore which are the repercussions of unemployment in young people from Lima. This variable is important to study in Perú, because in the last three months the percentage of unemployment has been increasing, especially for young population. The research method was qualitative and identified four categories: negative repercussions on affective level, negative ideas regarding self-concept, negative repercussions on behavioral level and economic limitations for well-being. These results, in agreement with research in others countries show that the unemployment effects in young well-being and can be influence in the mental health of the individual. Therefore, it is vitally important to promote spaces that allow the psychosocial assistance of unemployment person in order to reduce the psychological cost of unemployment. / Tesis

La presente investigación tuvo el objetivo de analizar los comentarios de usuarios de Facebook sobre los NiNi en el Perú para comprender qué representaciones sociales se construyen alrededor de dicha población. Para ello, se utilizó la metodología cualitativa basada en un diseño de análisis temático. En cuanto a los principales hallazgos, se encontró que las representaciones sociales sobre los NiNi giran, principalmente, en torno a estereotipos negativos y son emitidas con un discurso hostil. Asimismo, surgieron representaciones disposicionales a través de las cuales los usuarios explican las conductas de los NiNi basándose en sus características, lo cual genera que se culpabilice solo a dicho grupo de su situación. Igualmente, surgieron representaciones situacionales mediante las cuales los cibernautas explican la conducta de los NiNi basándose en las circunstancias en las que viven, tales como la mala crianza de los padres, la informalidad laboral, las condiciones precarias de trabajo, el poco apoyo por parte del Estado, entre otras. / The present study aimed to analyze the comments of Facebook users about NEETs in Peru to understand what social representations are built around this population. For this purpose, a qualitative study was developed based on a thematic analysis design. Regarding the main findings, it was found that social representations about NEETs mainly revolve around negative stereotypes and are delivered with a hostile discourse. In addition, dispositional representations appeared through which users explain the behaviors of NEETs based on their characteristics, which leads to blaming only this group for their situation. Likewise, situational representations emerged through which netizens explain the behavior of NEETs based on the circumstances in which they live, such as poor parenting, informal work, precarious working conditions, little support from the State, etc.
