Subject urgency: A school becomes a significant part in each child’s life. The child spends here a big amount of time and, therefore, he should be safe in it. According to the Constitution of LR, the responsibility for children’s bringing up must be taken by parents and school. It is necessary to assure the opportunity to gain primary education which is free, compulsory and of good quality to all the children in the world. (Unicef, 2002, 6) The quality of primary education depends on the child’s readiness for school, the adaptable duration assigned for the learners of the first form, the teacher’s help not only for parents but also to children as well. Scientific problem: The search for helping the pupils of the first form and their parents during the period of adaptation at school. The purpose of this research: To reveal the investigations into the help of the learners of the first form and their parents in order to solve the most urgent problems which arise during the period of school adaptation. The aims of this research: 1. to define the teachers’ who participate in the teaching process of the 1st form pupils opinion about the difficulties in the class and in the family during the period of adaptation; 2. to reveal and to evaluate those difficulties; 3. to state the directions of the school adaptation to the learners of the first form and their parents on the base of the generalized data.
