En los últimos años la tecnología ha progresado a tal punto que con la aparición de las plataformas de streaming, la forma de disfrutar de una película ha cambiado por completo, pasamos de estar sentados en una sala de cine a la comodidad de tu hogar y utilizar cualquier dispositivo electrónico. En el caso del lenguaje sonoro audiovisual, ha supuesto una etapa de avance no solo a nivel técnico sino también a nivel estético, logrando el crecimiento de la banda sonora dentro del proceso de diseño y producción. Este artículo analiza la evolución que ha tenido el tratamiento sonoro del cine con los contenidos en streaming y los nuevos avances tecnológicos, a través de un análisis comparativo de la obra del director Martin Scorsese. Además, cambios en la forma en que el espectador tiene la conexión con la película.
