Autonomní a dispečerské řízení distribuovaných zdrojů v distribuční síti VN / Autonomous and dispatching control of distributed power generating plants operated in the HV distribution systemDvořáček, Jiří January 2021 (has links)
Theses focuses on the evaluation of the possible means of active and reactive power control of generating units connected to medium voltage. First part summarizes analysis of Czech Republic medium voltage distribution grid. It summarizes means of autonomous and dispatcher control of generating units with respect to European Comission directive RfG, standard ČSN EN 50549-2 and national implementation PPDS. Following parts provide description of generating unit and distribution grid models used for simulation in PSCAD. Last part focuses on evaluation of results obtained via simulating steady-state scenarios as well as continuous simulation.

Nároky profese operátora tísňové linky zdravotnické záchranné služby / Profession requirements of Emergency medical dispatcherRynešová, Klára January 2019 (has links)
and key words Rynešová, K. (2018). Profession requirements of Emergency medical dispatcher. Master Thesis. Prague: Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Arts, Department of psychology. This master's thesis dedicated to the emergency medical services (EMS) call dispatchers as a rather neglected group of healthcare workers. The main focus is put on the profession requirements of this professionally endangered group. Theoretical part of the thesis describes professional problems with an emphasis on psychological phenomena, which are closely related to this profession. There is described both the work of the EMS call dispatcher, the qualification requirements, working environment, types of calls and the specifics of communication on the 155 Czech national emergency line. The social competences are also discussed as factors related to the handling of the given occupational burden. Thesis also describes negative phenomena that may occur as a result of long-term occupational workload such as stress, burnout syndrome and posttraumatic stress reaction, which are associated with key social competencies that make it easier to manage. In the empirical part of the thesis, quantitative research is being carried out. It is focused on the identification of specific key social competences that allow effective...

Analysis of a hybrid PV-CSP plant integration in the electricity marketMaz Zapater, Juan Vicente January 2023 (has links)
One of the key challenges the world will need to face during the 21st century is global warming and the consequent climate change. Its presence is indisputable, and decarbonizing the gird emerges as one of the required pathways to achieve global sustainable objectives. Solar energy power plants have the potential to revert this situation and solve the problem. One way to harness this energy is through Concentrated Solar Power plants. The major advantage and potential of this technology is its ability to integrate cost-effective Thermal Energy Storage (TES), which is key with such an inherently intermittent resource. On the other hand, the drawback is the high current Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). The other main way to harness that highlighted solar energy is the use of Photovoltaic panels, which have recently achieved very competitive LCOE values. On the other hand, the storage integration is still a very pricey option, normally done with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). As a conclusion, a hybrid power plant combining the LCOE of the PV and the TES of the CSP emerges as the key way of achieving a very competitive solution with a big potential. This master thesis aims at exploring the possibilities of a hybrid CSP and PV power plant with a sCO2 power cycle, integrated in the primary, secondary and tertiary electricity markets. To achieve this purpose, firstly, a Python-based Energy Dispatcher was developed to control the hybrid power plant. Indeed, the Dispatcher is the tool that decides when to produce, when to store… following an optimization problem. This can be formulated mathematically, and that was done and integrated into the Python code using Pyomo, a software for optimization problems. As a result, the Dispatcher achieved an effective control of the plant, showing intelligent decisions in detailed hourly analyses. The results were very promising and included optimization functions as maximizing the profitability of the plant or the total production, among others. To proceed with the Techno-economic assessment of the hybrid plant, the electricity markets were studied. The main source of income of any power plant is normally the revenue from selling electricity to the grid, but since there are several markets, there are also other possibilities. In this thesis, it was assessed from a Techno-Economic perspective how the performance and optimal design of the plants vary when providing different services extra to selling electricity to the grid. The conclusion was that even though the Net Present Value (NPV) achieved working on the spot market was already very high, the extra value added from participating in the secondary or tertiary markets was indisputable. Indeed, the profits attained in those markets were between two and four times higher than the ones of the spot market. This is a specific case, but a trend was identified: these hybrid power plants have a huge possibility and a bright future on the service markets. As a consequence, this thesis shows the huge potential of hybrid power plants integrated in the grid participating in several markets. It also lays the foundation for future studies in other locations, under different conditions and with different technologies, among others.

Integrace operačních středisek v rámci Krajského ředitelství policie Jihočeského kraje / Integration of operations centres in the South Regional Police Headquarters RegionSVĚTLÍK, Jan January 2012 (has links)
As the topic of my diploma work I chose the issue of integration of operation centers in the jurisdiction of the Directory of Czech Police of the South Bohemian Region. This topic was chosen with regard to my job in the police of the Czech Republic and also with the assumption to assess the current state of the operation management in the jurisdiction of the Directory of Czech Police of the South Bohemian Region and compare it with the newly proposed integrated centre which should be created within the framework of integration of existing regional operation centres, evaluation of communication of operations centres within the framework of the integrated rescue system and within the framework of the police of the Czech Republic itself at different levels of operation management. The aim of my thesis is to describe the current state of workplaces of operation centers of the police of the Czech Republic and to assess their integration into a single operation center in the teritory of the South Bohemian region. I analyze the situation from the viewpoint of conduct, management and personal security and I assess material-technical security. Last but not least it's about confirming or refuting the hypothesis that was formulated before i started the thesis. This thesis stems particularly from internal act of conduct of the police of the Czech Republic and from the current legislation. Aims of my work are summarized in the capter Discussion which was preceded by description of the current state of operation centers and their function in the framework of operation conduct. Comparing the current and the suggested solution from the viewpoint of conduct, management, personal security, economic and material-technical security and physical integration. The formulation given by the hypothesis was confirmed based on the comparison carried out in the study of the current state and the prepared state, and seems to be effective. Because of the introduced measures that are realized by integration of the current operation centers into one, the effectivity will be increased.

Řízení zásobní funkce nádrže s využitím metod umělé inteligence / Control of the reservoir storage function using artificial intelligence methodsHon, Matěj January 2022 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with flow prediction using artificial intelligence to control the storage function of the reservoir. It focuses on the control of storage function using combination of dispatching graphs and flow prediction. The work is divided into a methodological part and an application part. The methodological part contain describes how the acquisition of historical data, a description of the work of dispatching graphs and forecasting models. The application part contains flow forecasts and outflow control. A prediction model is based on the fuzzy method, and it is used to predict inflows. The calibration and validation of the prediction model is also described. Results of prediction model were evaluated. In next step the results of control method were evaluated and compared with result of dispatching graphs. The results of controlled method were satisfactory.
