The master’s thesis is focused on evaluation of the performance of the company Deceuninck, spol. s r. o. by using the START Model, which is based on the logic of the EFQM Excellence Model. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical bases related to performance and methods of its measurement. The second part is focused on the description of the selected company and evaluation of the results of the questionnaire survey. The final part of this work contains measures which were suggested to improve the current situation.

This diploma thesis deals with performance evaluations of C SYSTEM CZ a.s. Theoretical basis closer to the fundamental issue of work, explain the concepts of performance and quality, and focus on performance measurement tools. Analytical section gives more information about the company and its performance evaluation model is measured by START PLUS.

This thesis aims to assess the efficiency of the company Javořice, a.s. This company is rated with the help of the multi-criterial model START PLUS. Using this model, the strengths and weaknesses could be revealed. Measures aimed to increase productivity of the examined company were proposed in the conclusion of this thesis.

The described organization is called ENVINET Inc. and it is analyzed according to multi-criteria model START PLUS. The presented dissertation work is focused on a problem of benchmarking. In particular, it deals with a role and limitations of benchmarking as a tool for company management's decision-making. The basic objective of the work is to propose a methodology of conducting benchmarking in small and medium-size companies in connection with strategic management, to raise their competitiveness and efficiency. The main contribution of the dissertation work is the proposed methodology of implementing and conducting benchmarking in small and medium-size companies and carrying out by consulting companies. The proposal of the methodology contains models of considering the suitability of implementing and conducting benchmarking, and those are the main scientific contribution of the doctorate candidate.

Diploma thesis is focused on proposing impemantation of the Balanced Scorecard in the selected company. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part deals with the definition of financial analysis, EFQM Excellence Model and Balanced Scorecard. Practical part describes the selected company, analyses a financial health and summarizes the results of self-esteem based on EFQM Excellence Model. Then, based on current situation, proposal for Balanced Scorecard implementation is designed.

The subject of this diploma thesis is evaluation of the performance of the selected company using financial and especially non-financial approaches. In the practical part is briefly presented the characteristic of the company and subsequently applied selected methods. The results of the methods used are compared with each other and then proposals to increase the competitiveness of the company are developed. At the end of the thesis, the possibility of generalizing used approaches and pro-posals for other companies in the sector is considered.

This diploma thesis is focused on evaluation of performance in two agricultural companies. In order to make proposals of recommendations in competitiveness. There are used financial and non-financial methods for evaluation. Within financial methods used in the thesis are financial analysis and economic value added. EFQM Model Excelence is used as a non-financial method. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains theoretical essentials required for the second part - Own work. In the second part there are companies described individually and there are also applied chosen methods. Results from applied methods are evaluated later on. On the basis of the evaluation are made proposals of recommendations to increase a productivity of the companies.
