Orientador: João Augusto Gentilini / Banca: José Vaidergorn / Banca: Ângela Maria Montes Peral Valente / Resumo: A presente pesquisa sob o título "O Professor Coordenador na Rede Oficial de Ensino do Estado de São Paulo: um estudo sobre a (re)construção de sua ação pelo cotidiano" tem como objetivo estudar os fatores que levam o professor coordenador a se distanciar das atribuições instituídas por lei referentes a sua função. O foco de estudo são os profissionais da Diretoria de Ensino da Região de São João da Boa Vista. Para que o estudo fosse realizado foi analisada a literatura que trata sobre este profissional, bem como análise da legislação que instituiu a função "Professor Coordenador" na rede pública estadual de ensino e as leis vigentes. Foi construída uma fundamentação teórica no que tange à representação social, ao estudo do cotidiano e a prática profissional em detrimento dos fatores que impossibilitam a efetivação de uma identidade própria. Foram realizadas entrevistas com professores coordenadores, docentes e diretores de escola pertencentes à Diretoria de Ensino da Região de São João da Boa Vista, com a finalidade de identificar esses fatores e refletir sobre as possibilidades de mudanças. Pretende-se, assim, a concretização de uma proposta de discussão acerca dos caminhos que levam à efetivação de uma identidade para a função de Professor Coordenador. / Abstract: This research under the title " Coordinator Teacher in the Official System of Education of the State of São Paulo: a study on the (re) construction of its action by the daily" aims to study the factors that lead to the coordinator teacher of distance functions introduced by law relating to his office. The focus of study is the professionals of the Administration of Education of the Region of São João da Boa Vista. For the study to be conducted was avalised the literature what discusses this professional and was made an analysis of the legislation that established the function "Coordinator Teacher" in the state public education and the present laws. It was built a theoretical foundation in terms of social representation, the study of everyday life and professional practice to the detriment of the factors that make it impossible to accomplish a specific identity. Interviews were conducted with forty-three teacher's coordinators, fifty teachers and ten directors from schools. We used also, four questions in a questionnaire applied before the new legislation, which was conducted with two hundred and thirty teachers, belonging to the Regional Directory of Education of São João da Boa Vista, which will be analyzed in order to identify these factors and reflect on the possibilities for change. It intends, therefore, the realization of a proposal for discussion about the ways that lead to the realization of an identity for the role of Coordinator Teacher. / Mestre
