Defesa: Curitiba, 18/05/2015 / Inclui referências : f. 142-161 / Resumo: A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar como a Educação Ambiental está sendo desenvolvida nos Centros de Educação Integral (de 1º ao 5º ano) da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Curitiba (RME). Para tanto, utilizamos como lente teórica, a fenomenologia e a metodologia qualitativa de pesquisa com base na teoria fundamentada nos dados. Os principais instrumentos para adquirir os dados foram a aplicação de questionários e entrevistas, com quatro docentes atuantes com as Práticas de Educação Ambiental desenvolvidas nos Centros de Educação Integral (CEIs), participantes deste estudo. A análise dos dados revelou que nos contextos pesquisados, as práticas educativas ambientais acontecem de forma permanente (pelo menos uma vez por semana), sendo realizadas nestas unidades, no período de contraturno escolar. Quanto à abordagem, os resultados indicaram a predominância de atividades com caráter prático e lúdico, todavia, realizadas sob um viés simplista-ativista, focado na mudança de atitudes e comportamentos, sem conexão com as realidades locais e com tratamento superficial no se refere às questões socioambientais. Diante dos resultados revelados, a pesquisa apresenta algumas considerações indicativas, tendo em vista, contribuir com o desenvolvimento da Educação Ambiental nas realidades pesquisadas. Nesta perspectiva, podemos destacar: incorporar a concepção crítica e emancipadora da Educação Ambiental nos cursos de formação continuada em Educação Ambiental, oferecidos pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SME); ampliar a regularidade destes cursos, possibilitando que estes sejam realizados com maior frequência durante o ano letivo; promover eventos entre os docentes da RME que atuam com a Educação Ambiental, incentivando a comunicação e divulgação das ações e práticas realizadas, como também reflexões e discussões sobre este campo educativo. Práticas educativas ambientais. / Abstract: The objective of this research was to analyze how the Environmental Education is being developed at the Integral Educational Centers (from the 1th to 5th year) from Curitiba's Public Schools. Therefore, we used as theoretical lens, the phenomenology and methodology qualitative research based on the fundamental theory data. The main instruments to obtain the data were the application of questionnaires, and interviews with four acting teachers at the Evironmental Education developed at Integral Educational Centers, participants of this study.The data analysis showed that in the concepts reserached, environment pratical education happens permanently (at least once a week),being conducted at these units, at the oposite hours of school classes. About the approach, the results indicated practical and playful activities predominantly, but done in simplistically way, focused at changing attitudes, without any connections with the local realities treating superficially social and environmental issues. In view of the results, the research has some sugestions, wanting to contribute with the development of the Environmental Education at theses realities researched. We can highlight some points, such as: incorporate a critical and emancipatory design from the Evironmental Education, offered by the Municipal Secretary of Education; increase the regularity of these courses, enabling them to be carried out more frequently during the school year; promote events between the RME teachers who work at the Environmental Education, encouraging communication and dissemination of actions and held practices, as such reflections and discussions about this educational group.
