Tekstilės medžiagų lenkimo ir klupdymo parametrų prognozavimas / Prognosis of the bending and buckling parameters of textile fabrics

In the textile industry it is important to know features of different fabrics. A number of experiments, which analyze the features of fabrics, are performed in Kaunas University of Technology. First of them is investigation of textile fabric buckling parameters using buckling wave test method. Three different plain weave fabrics treated with different concentrations of PVA (polyvinyl acetate) stiffener were chosen as a research objects. There were two factors, which outlined the behavior of the textile buckling. These were buckling wave’s height and the area under it. The buckling wave can be outlined as projections of the fabric in the vertical direction. During experiment, the samples of textile were cut out in three directions: longitudinal, transverse and 45º bias direction. Function of wave area changes increasing the in-plain deformation has the same expression in all three cutting directions. It is determined that the wave’s area function depends on two variables. The bending behavior of fabrics is an important topic in scientific textile research as well as in industrial applications. The TH 7 bending meter provides a measure of force required to bend the fabric sample in different angles. The obtained force-angle relationship shows nonlinear behavior. Besiūlio įrišimo kokybės tyrimas / The research of the glue binding quality

Nagrinėjama besiūlio įrišimo (klijavimo) kokybė. Aprašomas besiūlio įrišimo specifiškumas, klijavimo mašinos parametrai, darantys įtaką suklijavimo kokybei, ypač pirmam ir paskutiniam puslapiui. Pateikiami rezultatai klijuojant skirtingais suklijavimo parametrais. Rezultatai apdorojami eksperimentų planavimo metodu. Parodytas principas ieškant rezultatų eksperimento planavimo metodu. Darbą sudaro 8 dalys: įvadas, literatūros apžvalga, tyrimų metodika, rezultatai ir jų aptarimas, išvados ir rekomendacijos, santrumpos, literatūros sąrašas, priedai. Darbo apimtis – 57 p. teksto be priedų, 9 lentelės, 25 paveikslai, 10 bibliografiniai šaltiniai. / It is presented the research of glue binding machine. It is discribed the specificity of glue binding, the parameters, which are the most important for glue binding quality, especially for binding first and last pages. There are given results of binding, when different parameters are chosen. It is also shown the principle of counting by method of planning experiment. Thesis consist of: 57 p. text without appendixes, 9 tables,25 pictures, 10 bibliographical entries.

Ultravioletinių dažų sukietinimo problemų tyrimas / The research of problems of ultraviolet ink hardening

Nagrinėjama spausdinimo metu ant atspaudo užnešamų ultravioletinių dažų sukietinimo (užsitvirtinimo) problema. Spausdinama ritinine plokščiosios ofsetinės spaudos spausdinimo mašina. Apžvelgti eksperimentiniai ir teoriniai problemos aspektai. Aprašoma dažų džiovinimo ultravioletinėmis lempomis specifika, spausdinimo mašinos ir džiovinimo įrenginių parametrų įtaka dažų sukietinimo kokybei. Pateikiama eksperimentų planavimo metodu paremta tyrimo metodika ir jos pagrindu gauti duomenys, parodantys technologinių faktorių įtaką dažų sukietinimui. Didžiausią įtaką nagrinėjamų ultravioletinių dažų sukietinimui daro ultravioletinių lempų skaičius. / The problems of hardening (fixing) of ultraviolet ink while putting it on the imprint during the printing process are examined. The product is printed with the web-fed offset printing press. Experimental and theoretical questions are investigated. The specific features of ultraviolet ink curing using the ultraviolet radiation lamps as well as the parameters of the printing press and ultraviolet curing devices, which affect the quality of the imprint, are described. The results are presented in reference to the research methods based on the mathematical design of experiments. The results reveal how different technological factors’ affect the investigated hardening. The biggest influence on the investigated ultraviolet ink hardening has the number of ultraviolet lamps.
