Detta examensarbete behandlar konflikthantering i grundskolans tidigare år. Är det en självklarhet att arbetande lärare ute på skolorna arbetar med konflikter på bästa sätt? Hur hanterar man konflikter? Vilka verktyg använder man? Hur arbetar man förebyggande mot att konflikter uppstår? Vad tycker eleverna om lärarnas sätt att hantera konflikter och hur defineras begreppet konflikt av elever och lärare? Dessa var frågor som vi ställde oss och gjorde därmed studier ute på två grundskolor för att få svar på våra frågor. / This work is about conflict management in elementary school. Is it an obvious thing that teachers out in schools work with conflicts in the best way possible? Which tools do they use? How do they provent conflicts? What do the children think about how the teachers work with conflicts? How do the children and the teachers define the word conflict? Theese where questions that we asked ourselves. We got answers by doing studies at two elementary schools.

This master thesis explores relationships between education and school culture. The theoretical part defines terms culture, education and main determinants of their relationships in terms of natural culture, globalisation, socioeconomic influence, political settings and public demand. In the empirical part, the level of influence of the founder of the school on its culture in the educational process is explored. The diploma thesis deals with the theme of negative effects (forms of risk behaviour) at elementary schools pupils in Český Krumlov and mentions valid legilslation in the field of the risk behaviour primary prevention at school-compulsory choldren and youngsters. The theoretical part describes chosen socially-pathologic effects, the system of primary prevention and MŠMT legislation and other ministries as well in the field of risk behaviour prevention, as well as preventive aktivity of the institutions and organizations in the area of the city of Český Krumlov according to valid laws. The diploma thesis in the practical part includes empirical research performed at chosen elementary schools in Český Krumlov among teachers mapping their experience with the most frequent risk behaviour forms of pupils and further their knowledge and valid legislation usage inthe field of preventation both at schools and duringafter-school activities.
