Recent organisational changes have refocused attention on the productivity and performance of sales representatives and consequently brought about a re-evaluation of the QWL these employees experience, as well as their trust in the organisation to support them. Responses to an internet-based survey methodology were analysed using quantitative techniques and structural equation modelling. Results confirm a positive relationship between Managerial Practices and Organisational Trust, and a lower relationship between the dimensions of Personality and Organisational Trust. A positive relationship was noted between QWL and Managerial Practices, and a lower relationship between QWL and the Personality constructs. This study accentuates the importance of management to be aware of the trust employees have in the organisation as well as their experience of QWL, as it seems as though the Personality traits and Managerial Practices of managers influences both the trust relationship and QWL experienced by employees. / Industrial and Organisational Psychology / M.A. (Industrial and Organisational Psychology)

Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar uma análise de desempenho e viabilidade da aplicação da antena de van Veen e Bergervoet na determinação de contribuições de fontes de emissão radiada em ambientes eletromagnéticos, considerando-se a faixa de freqüência de 9 kHz a 30 MHz. Como potencial aplicação resultante deste trabalho está a utilização de resultados experimentais na determinação de fontes equivalentes de emissão radiada, aplicáveis em simulações numéricas e diretamente através de cálculo analítico na determinação de campos eletromagnéticos no espaço. Desta forma, o uso dessas fontes em simuladores de ambientes eletromagnéticos poderá contribuir para diminuir as restrições e dificuldades atuais oriundas da avaliação experimental e teórica de ambientes eletromagnéticos diversos, e daquelas relativas a estudos de compatibilidade eletromagnética de sistemas elétricos e eletrônicos, como sistemas embarcados, etc. / The objective of this work is to present is to present the main theoretical aspects and the evaluation of the van Veen and Bergervoet antenna performance, concerning its application to the determination of equivalent radiated emission sources, for the 9 kHz to 30 MHz frequency range. As a potential application, it is assumed the use of the equivalent sources, obtained based on experimental measurements, directly, on simulations of the resulting electromagnetic environments. The application of this methodology, although considered as a simplified one, may contribute to reduce the current experimental and theoretical restrictions and difficulties regarding the electromagnetic compatibility studies of electrical and electronics systems, like the on-board systems etc.

The accessibility of workplace is fundamental for people with physical disabilities work performance. Occupational therapists, members of an interprofessional rehabilitation team, deal with factors of physical environment. They are able to evaluate workplace and make recommendations how to remove identified barriers. However, no appropriate tools were found in the available literature for detailed evaluation of work environment of people with physical disabilities in the Czech Republic. The tools found are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. Therefore the first aim of the thesis was to create a pilot version of new czech tool for work environment evaluation called "ERGOHoP-P" (Occupational Therapy Work Environment Evaluation) intended for occupational therapists. The second aim was to create a draft of some chosen chapters of technological clinical recommended procedure of physical work environment evaluation by an occupational therapist and selection of suitable facilitators for people with physical disability. Both aims were fulfilled. The process of administration was tested by three occupational therapists during the creation of the tool ERGOHoP-P.
