Tal situação visa verificar o nível de desenvolvimento e a influência do ambiente sobre o comportamento motor. Participaram do estudo 27 crianças portadoras de Síndrome de Down, com idade entre 8 e 12 anos, alunos do Setor Educacional do Centro de Habilitação da APAE, que foram filmadas na execução do movimento de arremessar, em quatro tarefas diferentes. Tarefa I ¿ local indeterminado e alvo fixo; Tarefa II ¿ local determinado e alvo fixo; Tarefa III ¿ local determinado e alvo ausente; Tarefa IV ¿ local determinado e alvo móvel. Cada criança realizou 5 tentativas por tarefa. Houve decodificação do movimento através da lista de checagem de ROBERTON (1975 e 1987). A análise não paramétrica dos dados revelou que, quanto ao nível de desenvolvimento do padrão de movimento arremessar por cima, analisado inicialmente por componente do movimento, verificamos que os componentes braço e antebraço estão em níveis mais rudimentares que os componentes preparação de braço e tronco. O componente pés, apresenta níveis iniciais com também superiores. Quanto à análise das mudanças dos níveis de desenvolvimento do movimento de arremessar por cima, nas diferentes tarefas, observamos a existência de variações nos níveis apresentado, estando porém a maior incidência, na permanência dos mesmos... Observação: O resumo, na íntegra, poderá ser visualizado no texto completo da tese digital / Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the motor behaviour through throwing ward, done by the children with Down¿s syndrome mental deficiency and moderate level. Such a situation requires a check up of the level of development as a well as the influence of the environment on the motor behaviour 27 handicapped children with Down¿s syndrome, whose age was between 8 and 12 years pupils of the Educational Sector of the Center of APAE were filmed during the execution of throwing movement, in four different tasks. Task I ¿ An indetermined place and a stable aim; Task II ¿ a determined place and a fixed aim; Task III ¿ A determined place an absent aim; Task IV ¿ A determined place and a moving aim. Each child performed 5 tentatives in each task. There was a decodification of the movement through the list of Roberton chek list (1975 and 1987). The not parametric analyse of the data revealed that as to the level of the development pattern of the throwing movement analyzing initially the components of the movement, we verified that such components as the arm and forearm are found in more rudimental levels than the preparation components of arms and trunk...
