The Institute is located in the region of the General Mountain range of the Bahia, composed by twenty and nine cities, encloses an area of 32.354, 6 km ² - 5.7% of the bahian territory, is a region that lacks of investment in some areas, however science and the technology can offer subsidies to the small and mediuns farming to cultivate the ground and to survive to the impositions of the capitalism that comes expanding in a fast form in the interior of the cities. It had as main objective, to understand the occured contradictions between education Professionalizing Technique/, work and capitalism and its metamorphoses in the last decade. It was intended, also with this work, to investigate the contributions, the socioeconomics impacts of the course farming technician given in the IFBaiano ⁄ Guanambi Campus for the development of the General Mountain range. The reseachers ideas of the researchers Marx and Engels (2004) Kuenzer (2005), Carneiro (1998), Frigotto (1999), Catani (2007), Martins (2008) and others reseachers, bring them up to unveiling the contradictions of this field of the knowledge. One of them about a quantiqualitative research of matrix having the dialectic method for reference and using as procedures document questionnaire, interview and analysis. The capitalist system develops a model of social relation that hides the truths and alienates the people in around to its desires. Sees very little the way to be covered and the potential to be explored in each region. When perceiving the potentialities of the General Mountain range, of the Productive Hinterland in all the dimensions is possible to affirm that still it has very to make. The actions developed for the institute, in particular in the Farming course Technician, are valuable and enriching, but still shy considering the vast field of performance. It s necessary makes the strengthening of the social movements, of the unions, advice who are formed in the state spheres in order to fortify the public sphere by means of an action strategically politics so that the actions developed for the institute penetrate in the agricultural communities modifying the effective reality. Thus, we wait that the result of this inquiry contributes so that the actions developed in the related institute and, in particular in the farming course technician in either a motivator element of strengthening of agricultural producing average the small families of the e, and that politician cooperates to the development, social, cultural, ambient and economic of the region. / Considerando que há uma relação entre educação e trabalho, nesta investigação realizada no período de 2009 a 2010 buscou-se compreender a interface entre o ensino técnico agropecuário e o desenvolvimento sócio político na região da Serra Geral da Bahia, identificando as contribuições teórico-práticas do curso técnico em agropecuária oferecido pelo IFBaiano⁄Campus Guanambi na melhoria do sistema produtivo da região. O Instituto está localizado na região da Serra Geral da Bahia, composta por vinte e nove municípios, abrange uma área de 32.354,6 km² - 5,7% do território baiano. É uma região que carece de investimento em várias áreas. Neste trabalho defende-se a ideia que a ciência e a tecnologia podem oferecer subsídios aos pequenos e médios agricultores para cultivar o solo e sobreviver às imposições do capitalismo que vem se expandindo de forma rápida no interior dos municípios. Assumiu-se como objetivo principal, compreender as contradições entre educação Técnica/Profissionalizante, trabalho e capitalismo e suas metamorfoses ocorridas na última década investigando as contribuições, os impactos socioeconômicos do curso técnico agropecuário ministrado no IFBaiano ⁄ Campus Guanambi para o desenvolvimento da Serra Geral. As ideias dos pesquisadores Marx e Engels (2004) Kuenzer (2005), Carneiro (1998), Frigotto (1999), Catani (2007), Martins (2008) dentre outros, proporcionaram o desvelamento das contradições desse campo do conhecimento. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho quantiqualitativa com o método dialético por referência e, como procedimentos questionário, entrevista e análise de documentos. O sistema capitalista desenvolve um modelo de relação social que encobre as verdades e aliena as pessoas em torno dos seus desejos. Enxerga-se muito pouco o caminho a ser percorrido e o potencial a ser explorado em cada região. Ao perceber as potencialidades da Serra Geral, do Sertão Produtivo em todas as dimensões, é possível afirmar que ainda há muito para fazer. As ações desenvolvidas pelo Instituto, em particular no Curso Técnico Agropecuária, são valiosas e enriquecedoras, mas ainda tímidas, considerando o vasto campo de atuação. Necessário se faz o fortalecimento dos movimentos sociais, dos sindicatos, conselhos que são formados nas esferas estatais de modo a fortalecer o domínio público por meio de uma ação política estratégica para que as ações desenvolvidas pelo Instituto penetrem nas comunidades rurais alterando a realidade vigente. Assim, esperamos que o resultado desta investigação contribua para que as ações desenvolvidas no referido Instituto e, em particular no Curso Técnico em Agropecuária, sejam um elemento motivador de fortalecimento das famílias dos pequenos e médios produtores rurais, que cooperem para o desenvolvimento político, social, cultural, ambiental e econômico da região e para o debate teórico da temática educação profissional.
