Com esse objetivo, realizamos um estudo de caso, apresentando resultados das entrevistas com alunos e professores quanto aos suas expectativas, focando o Curso Técnico de Enfermagem no qual o PROEJA já foi implantado. Apresentamos um breve histórico do Instituto Federal (IFSC), sua vocação profissionalizante, suas adequações às mudanças da educação profissional no contexto nacional, bem como os impactos institucionais das políticas inclusivas do governo federal. O PROEJA, nesse contexto, representa um programa que integra as políticas de inclusão e expansão da rede federal de educação profissional e, por essa razão, analisaremos o processo de implantação, utilizando, como suporte, a revisão da recente produção bibliográfica existente, além de documentos institucionais que descrevem, organizam e estruturam esse processo. A investigação em torno da implantação do Curso Técnico de Enfermagem nos propicia o conhecimento dos acertos e das contradições desse processo, contribuindo, dessa maneira, para refletir sobre possíveis correções de rumo nas decisões institucionais. / Abstract: This research aims to analyze the implementation of the National Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the form of Youth and Adults Education (PROEJA) at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Santa Catarina. With this objective we conducted a case study, presenting results of interviews with students and teachers and their expectations, focusing on the undergraduate nursing where PROEJA has been implemented. We present a brief history of the institutional development of the Federal Institute (IFSC), his professional vocation, their adjustments to changes in professional education in the national context, as well as the impact of institutional policies inclusive of the federal government. The PROEJA in this context represents a program that integrates the policies of inclusion and expansion of the federal network of professional education and for this reason we turn to analyze the implementing process using as support the production of the recent literature review as well as institutional documents about this process. The research into the implementation of the Technical Course in Nursing provides an understanding of the successes and the contradictions of this process, thus contributing to reflect on possible course corrections in institutional decisions. / Mestrado / Politicas, Administração e Sistemas Educacionais / Mestre em Educação
