No caso das filas, isso poderia ser evitado em boa parte, se todos entendessem sua estrutura e sua finalidade. Esta investigação tem como objetivo desenvolver um aprendizado sobre sistemas de filas e suas possíveis aplicações, além de estabelecer alguns aspectos educacionais sobre esse assunto. Este estudo foi desenvolvido no âmbito escolar, considerando o caso da educação em filas. A investigação iniciou-se com pesquisa bibliográfica de aspectos teóricos sobre filas e sobre os conceitos de tempo de espera, tipos de filas e suas aplicações. Seguidamente, foi realizado um questionário referente à estrutura de filas e sua educação básica, com a finalidade de avaliar o nível de conhecimento dos alunos. Após a aplicação dessa etapa, foi realizada uma apresentação sobre o tema tratado e, em seguida, aplicação de outro questionário, a fim de analisar a existência de melhoria na aprendizagem. Com o desenvolvimento e aplicação deste estudo, foi possível concluir que houve significativo ganho de conhecimento e de aprendizado dos alunos com relação à educação de filas e seus aspectos. Como motivações aos alunos, foram realizadas duas aplicações simples de filas com comportamentos distintos: uma situação em que os alunos presenciam no seu cotidiano, a fila da cantina, e outra com a teoria mais conhecida e regularmente aplicada. As situações estudadas fornecem subsídios aos alunos na compreensão e na aplicação da teoria em sistemas de filas de espera. / Waiting time is a very studied variable in our daily life and can not be disregarded or minimized, especially when some time is taken from a person by others who do not respect an ordering established in care systems. In the case of queues, this could be largely avoided if everyone understood its structure and purpose. This research aims to develop a learning about queuing systems and their possible applications, besides establishing some educational aspects about this subject. This study was developed in the school context, considering the case of education in queues. The investigation began with a bibliographical research of theoretical aspects about queues and about the concepts of waiting time, types of queues and their applications. Next, a questionnaire was carried out regarding the structure of queues and their basic education, with the purpose of evaluating the students' level of knowledge. After the application of this step, a presentation was made on the subject treated and then application of another questionnaire, in order to analyze the existence of improvement in learning. With the development and application of this study, it was possible to conclude that there was a significant gain in the knowledge and learning of students regarding the education of queues and their aspects. As motivations to the students, two simple applications of queues with different behaviors were carried out: a situation in which the students see in their daily lives, the canteen queue, and another with the best known and regularly applied theory. The situations studied provide support for students in the understanding and application of the theory in queuing systems.

O presente estudo tem por objetivo fornecer uma maior compreensão acerca do consumo e das comunidades de consumo formadas nas filas de espera que antecedem a apresentação de bandas internacionais. A questão central de pesquisa pode ser assim definida: como são formadas as comunidades de consumo nas filas de espera que antecedem apresentações musicais de bandas internacionais? E a espera nas filas, é compreendida como sendo parte do consumo? A importância do estudo se justifica devido à existência de lacunas na literatura que tratem as filas de espera formadas por consumidores como comunidades de consumo. Para suportar a pesquisa, foi realizada uma análise teórica acerca de comunidade de consumo, fanatismo, consumo experiencial e a fila de espera como um sistema social. O método utilizado teve inspiração etnográfica, para que houvesse a imersão da pesquisadora no universo do fenômeno a ser estudado. Foi verificado que a busca dos fileiros para chegar cedo nas filas de espera que antecedem a apresentação musical de bandas internacionais se deve ao fato de procurarem garantir o melhor lugar para assistir ao show, que seja o mais próximo possível dos seus artistas, além de ser uma forma de homenagear seus ídolos. A fila também é uma forma encontrada de expandir a duração da experiência, pois para eles o evento já começa na fila de espera. Foi observado que na fila ocorre a formação de comunidades de consumo, à medida que há um encontro de pessoas com gostos semelhantes, reunidas em torno de um interesse único em comum, que procuram enfrentar os desafios da fila de espera através de um cuidado e colaboração mútua entre seus membros. / The present study aims to provide a greater understanding about the consumption and consumption communities formed in the queues that precede the presentation of international bands. The central question of research can be defined as: how are consumer communities formed in the queues that precede musical performances of international bands? And the wait in queues is understood as being part of consumption? The importance of the study is justified due to the existence of gaps in the literature that deal with waiting lines formed by consumers as communities of consumption. To support the research, a bibliographical search about the consumption community, fanaticism, experiential consumption and the queue as a social system was carried out. The method used had ethnographic inspiration, so that the researcher could immerse herself in the universe of the phenomenon to be studied. It was verified that the search of the ranks to arrive early in the queues that precede the musical presentation of international bands of must to the fact to look for guarantee the best place to watch the show, that is as near as possible of its artists, besides being a way to honor their idols. Queuing is also a way to extend the duration of the experiment because for them the event already starts in the queue. It has been observed that in the queue occurs the formation of communities of consumption, as there is a meeting of people with similar tastes, gathered around a unique interest in common, that seek to face the challenges of the queue through a care and collaboration between its members.

Some service providers do not correctly dimensioning its service capacity generating queues. The efficient management of queues assists managers in making decisions. The characteristics of services and their important activities are addressed, aiming to demonstrate the Computational Simulation utility to find a balance that satisfies the customer and is economically viable for the service manager. The study object is a self-service restaurant. Through the Software ARENA was developed a model of discrete type and stochastic to play everyday restaurant setting. It concludes that the discrete simulation software has modeling elements that meets the application requirements. The studied restaurant has different characteristics from traditional self-service with layout in series, and it was necessary to provide the model a route for the flow of customers. The study concluded that the queues occur in the mass preparation process, special meat preparation and boxes, with average waiting times of up to 5 minutes. In the other processes, which are trim service, salad - dessert, scale and location of a table - chair is available, the queues have a very agile flow. The operating model obtained allowed the evaluation of some scenarios aiming to reduce the queue time. / Este trabalho discute a aplicação da simulação discreta para a gestão de filas no setor de serviços. Alguns prestadores de serviços não dimensionam corretamente sua capacidade de atendimento gerando assim as filas. A gestão eficiente das filas auxilia os gestores na tomada de decisões. São abordadas as características das atividades de serviços e sua importância, tendo como objetivo demonstrar a utilidade da Simulação Computacional para se encontrar um ponto de equilíbrio que satisfaça o cliente e seja viável economicamente para o gestor do serviço. O objeto de estudo é um restaurante selfservice. Através do Software ARENA foi desenvolvido um modelo do tipo discreto e estocástico para reproduzir o ambiente diário do Restaurante. Conclui-se que o software de simulação discreta possui elementos de modelagem que atende as necessidades da aplicação. O restaurante estudado possui características diferentes do tradicional selfservice com layout em série, e foi necessário prever no modelo um roteamento para o fluxo de clientes. O estudo concluiu que as filas ocorrem nos processos de preparo de massas, preparo de carnes especiais e caixas, com tempos médios de espera de até 5min. Nos demais processos, que são serviço de guarnição, salada-sobremesa, balança e localização de uma mesa-com cadeira disponível, as filas possuem um fluxo bem ágil. O modelo operacional obtido permitiu a avaliação de alguns cenários visando diminuição do tempo de fila.
