El proyecto está situado en la costa de Pucusana, un balneario reconocido por su gran diversidad de recursos hidrobiológicos. Actualmente, existe un terminal pesquero en la costa, sin embargo, las condiciones precarias de las instalaciones y la falta de logística entorpecen el correcto procesamiento de los recursos hidrobiológicos. La pesca artesanal es la economía primaria de Pucusana, por lo tanto, una infraestructura deficiente afecta directamente la calidad de vida e ingresos de los pobladores del distrito. La municipalidad de Pucusana ha previsto la reconstrucción del terminal para potenciar el desarrollo de la actividad pesquera. Además, existen una serie de artículos que hacen mención a la implementación de espacios públicos y áreas verdes en el distrito, además de la mejora del malecón. Para lograr la conexión entre la naturaleza y el contexto urbano, se aplicó una interpretación de la teoría de los “Límites Difusos” de Toyo Ito, cuya evolución incorpora términos como trasferencia intencional, permeabilidad y arquitectura flexible. Basada en la abstracción, la teoría estudia una arquitectura del más allá, en la que no se puede intuir el límite entre las barreras físicas y el entorno natural, es decir, un diseño que interactúa a semejante nivel interior – exterior o natural – artificial, que el espacio logra su fuga. El proyecto de tesis comprende el desarrollo del malecón y el terminal pesquero turístico, enfatizando la fluidez a partir de la superposición de plataformas que continúan la forma natural de la franja costera; permitiendo un entorno legible y en constante interacción con la naturaleza. / The project is set in the coast of Pucusana, a Peruvian beach known for its vast diversity of marine species and resources. Currently, a fishing terminal is located there, but the deplorable sanitary conditions of the premises and lack of logistics hinder the processing of the hydrobiological resources. Artisanal fishing is the primary economy of Pucusana, therefore a deficient infrastructure directly affects the quality of the fishermen’s lives and incomes. The municipality of the district had envisioned the reconstruction of the terminal to ensure the improvement of the fishing activity. There were also several articles mentioning the upgrade of public and green areas around the coast, which evidences the need for a fishing terminal which emphasizes its touristic and recreational character. In order to reassure the connection between nature and the urban environment, an interpretation of the Toyo Ito’s “Blurring Architecture”. Based on the concept of abstraction, the theory follows an architecture that lays beyond, in which the user may not intuit the limit between the inside – outside or natural – artificial compounds. This is reflected in a design that allows an interaction with its natural environment, letting the spatiality leak out of the concrete casket. The thesis project comprehends the development of the boardwalk and the tourist fishing terminal; emphasizing the fluidity of the design through the overlapping of platforms that continue the natural form of the coast border, which allow a clear environment and a constant interaction with nature. Cerro Azul es una caleta de pescadores con gran historia entre sus calles, orillas y cerros; que va desde el asentamiento de la cultura Huarco en sus acantilados, hasta la revolución agrícola y llegada de los primeros japoneses al Perú. Lamentablemente, Cerro Azul ha perdido su identidad y carácter, dejando que poco a poco su historia quede como un vago recuerdo de sólo aquellos que la conocen bien. El proyecto planteado busca realzar esta tan importante caleta de pescadores del sur de Lima, dándole la relevancia que merece y devolviéndole a sus pobladores el orgullo de pertenecer a Cerro Azul. Como partida inicial, se plantea una propuesta urbana que ayuda a reordenar los tránsitos y flujos que por el momento están quebrados. Asimismo, se crea un nuevo hito en la ciudad donde se ubicará el proyecto en mención, acompañado de una gran plaza que ayudará a unificar tanto física como socialmente a los dos malecones que actualmente se encuentran fraccionados: el malecón del balneario y el de la zona residencial. De esta manera se proyectan tres tipologías: (i), un nuevo terminal pesquero que cumpla con las demandas de esta caleta, (ii) un centro de capacitación que ayude a inculcar e involucrar a la población con la pesca y cultura y, (iii) finalmente, un museo de sitio que muestre toda la vasta historia y reafirme a sus visitantes y pobladores el orgullo y la importancia de esta caleta de pescadores. / Cerro Azul is a fishing cove with a great history among its streets, shores and hills; from the settlement of the Huarco culture on its cliffs, to the agricultural revolution and the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants to Peru. Unfortunately, Cerro Azul has lost its identity and character, leaving little by little its history as a vague memory of only those who know it well. The project seeks to enhance this important fishing cove in the south of Lima, giving it the relevance it deserves and returning the pride of belonging to Cerro Azul to its inhabitants As a starting point, an urban renewal is proposed to help reorder the traffic and transit flows that are currently broken. Likewise, a new landmark is created in the city where the project will be located, accompanied by a large plaza that will help integrate physically and socially the two piers that are currently divided: the pier of the seaside resort and the residential area. In this way, three typologies are presented: (i), a new fishing terminal that meets the demands of this cove, (ii) a training center that will help involve and impress the population with fishing and culture, and (iii) finally, a site museum that will show the vast history of Cerro Azul and reaffirm to its visitors and residents the pride and importance of this fishing cove. / Tesis

El mar peruano atesora zonas de intenso afloramiento marino, por lo que es considerado dentro de las cuatro áreas principales pesqueras del mundo, siendo el norte del Perú la zona que concentra el mayor porcentaje de la diversidad hidrobiológica. La actividad pesquera en los diversos departamentos norteños se ha desarrollado con suma importancia con el transcurso del tiempo, lo que ha contribuido al crecimiento del PBI del país. La propuesta de un nuevo terminal pesquero para el puerto Malabrigo en el distrito de Rázuri, nace de la necesidad por abastecer de infraestructura nueva y especializada al distrito favoreciendo a la Población Económica Activa (PEA) que se dedica a la pesca artesanal y en ese sentido, contribuir indirectamente al desarrollo de la zona comercial pesquera y el turismo del lugar. El desarrollo del presente documento inicia con el análisis de la problemática que presenta esta zona, para lo cual se exponen argumentos que justifican el desarrollo de la tipología arquitectónica propuesta. Asimismo, se desarrollan los aspectos históricos, geográficos y climáticos como parte de la determinación del lugar de intervención. Dentro del desarrollo de carácter arquitectónico se analizan proyectos referenciales ubicados en diferentes partes del mundo con el objetivo de conocer y entender el funcionamiento y diseño de la tipología planteada. También se expone la definición teórica, el marco histórico y el marco normativo que refieren a la tipología escogida. En esa misma línea, se desarrolla un énfasis en arquitectura sostenible en torno a la cual girará todo el proyecto arquitectónico. / The Peruvian sea treasures areas of intense marine outcrop, which is why it is considered within the four main fishing areas of the world, with northern Peru being the area that concentrates the highest percentage of hydrobiological diversity. Fishing activity in the various northern departments has developed with great importance over time, which has contributed to the growth of the country's GDP. The proposal for a new fishing terminal for the Malabrigo port in the Razuri district arises from the need to supply new and specialized infrastructure to the district, favoring the Economically Active Population (EAP) that is dedicated to artisanal fishing and in that sense , indirectly contribute to the development of the commercial fishing zone and tourism of the place. The development of this document begins with the analysis of the problems presented by this area, for which arguments are presented that justify the development of the proposed architectural typology. Likewise, the historical, geographic, and climatic aspects are developed as part of the determination of the place of intervention. Within the architectural development, referential projects located in different parts of the world are analyzed with the aim of knowing and understanding the operation and design of the proposed typology. The theoretical definition, the historical framework and the normative framework that refer to the chosen typology are also exposed. Along these same lines, an emphasis is developed on sustainable architecture around which the entire architectural project will revolve. / Trabajo de investigación

El proyecto se ubica en Chorrillos, Lima, Perú en el borde inferior de la Costa Verde, desde su origen este fue un pueblo pesquero donde el principal comercio fue la compra y venta de pescados. Posteriormente, durante la época neoclásica, fue el balneario Limeño más concurrido, coexistiendo ambos sectores productivo-recreativo. Lamentablemente, luego de la Guerra del Pacífico, Chorrillos quedó en ruinas, sin embargo, los pescadores volvieron a asentarse y construyeron un mercado pesquero según las necesidades que se presentaban. Actualmente, el mercado sigue funcionando, pero de manera precaria, con una infraestructura deficiente que repercute en el oficio de la pesca. En el 2007, se realizó un concurso de ideas para la construcción de un mercado pesquero con espacios de esparcimiento, este no se implementó, pero quedó en evidencia el potencial del lugar para convertirse en un centro pesquero y turístico. La característica más interesante del terreno es que se encuentra en un entorno natural, por la parte posterior están los acantilados de la Costa verde y por el frente el Océano pacífico. Por ello, el proyecto necesita ser una conexión entre la naturaleza y la ciudad. Para lograrlo se aplicaron los criterios de los paisajes operativos, como resultado se logró la continuidad del entorno hacia el proyecto. En síntesis, el proyecto de tesis comprende el desarrollo de un mercado y puerto pesquero artesanal con espacios complementarios que sirva tanto para los pescadores como para los ciudadanos y revalorare el lugar. / The project is located in Chorrillos, Lima, Perú in the bottom edge of Costa Verde, since its origin it has been a fishing village where the principal commercial activity has been buying and selling fish and shellfish. Later, during neoclassical age, it was the most concurrent watering place of Lima, where both sectors productive and recreational were coexisting. Unfortunately, after the War of the Pacific, Chorrillos was left in ruins, however, fishermen came back to settle and build a fish market according to their currently needs. Nowadays, the market is still operating but in precarious conditions and deficient infrastructure affects the fishing labour. In 2007, a design contest for the construction of a fish market with public areas was held. Unluckily, these proposals were not implemented. Nevertheless, the high potential of the place to become a fishing and tourist center was left in evidence. The most interesting characteristic of the terrain is that it is located in a natural environment. Costa Verde’s cliffs and Pacific Ocean are at the back and on the front of the terrain respectfully. Therefore, the project needs to be a connection between nature and the city. To accomplish that, operative landscapes criteria was applied. In result, the continuity of the environment towards the project was achieved. In summary, the thesis project comprises the development of an artisanal fishing market and harbour with complementary spaces that serves both fishermen and citizens and reassess the area. / Tesis
