Orientador: Suraya Cristina Darido / Banca: Sara Quenzer Matthiesen / Banca: Marcos Garcia Neira / Resumo: Em 1999, o Ministério da Educação publicou os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs) para o Ensino Médio, baseando-se nas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais (DCNs) aprovadas em 1998 e publicadas em 1999. Estas publicações inserem a Educação Física na área de Linguagens, Códigos e suas Tecnologias, juntamente com outras disciplinas, como: Língua Portuguesa, Língua Estrangeira Moderna, Informática e Arte. No entender dos consultores, a Educação Física faz parte do universo dos conhecimentos humanos relativos à manifestação das intenções e da comunicação. Este trabalho surgiu da necessidade de aprofundar as temáticas relacionadas à Educação Física e linguagem, uma vez que a literatura da área, bem como os documentos legais, ainda deixam lacunas quanto a esses aspectos. O objetivo do presente estudo foi o de levantar e analisar na bibliografia conhecimentos que relacionassem a Educação Física escolar à questão das linguagens. Além disto, buscou-se junto a cinco professores de Educação Física, atuantes no Ensino Fundamental e/ou Médio, desvelar os seus conhecimentos a respeito das interfaces entre Educação Física escolar e linguagem, a partir de um Grupo Focal. Anteriormente à discussão, os professores assistiram ao documentário "Dançando em cadeiras de rodas", o qual mostrou a trajetória de um grupo de dança que tinha dentro do seu elenco também pessoas com necessidades especiais. Os professores se posicionaram sobre todas as questões colocadas, apontaram bibliografias e mostraram conhecimentos dos documentos oficiais. Estiveram presentes nas falas dos professores aspectos na temática da inclusão, uma vez que os mesmos acreditam que tratar de atividades que envolvam as diferentes linguagens, possibilita um maior envolvimento dos alunos...(Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: In 1999 the ministry of education has published the national Rules for the high school teaching in Brazil (PCNs), based on the national rules (DCNs), approved in 1998 and published in 1999. This publications position the physical education in the studies of the language, codes and its technology area, together with other subjects like Portuguese language, modern foreign language, informatics and arts. The consultants understanding about the physical education is part of the universe of human knowledge related to the communications and its manifestations of intentions. This paper came about from the necessities to deeply understand the themes related to physical education and language, once the brochures in this area are very little and there is a big lack of information on this area. The aim of this paper is to obtain and analyze in the bibliography, the knowledge related to the physical education that could link it to the language. It was also studied 5 high school professors that were able to show their knowledge on the interfaces of scholar physical education and language from a focus group. Before discussing the teachers were showed the report "Dançando em cadeiras de rodas" (Dancing on wheel chairs), that presented the development of a dancing group that was composed also by people with special needs. The teachers took positioning about the subjects questioned, suggested bibliography, and showed official documents. Subjects like social inclusion were present in the speeches of the teachers, once they believe that they deal with activities that involve different languages providing a better involvement of students.
