Moudrý, Michal January 2011 (has links)
MOUDRÝ Michal: Forging production of holder of steering pivot The project was elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch 2307. The aim of the project was to propose design of technology production of steering pivot holder using solid forming of steel 12 040.0. Based on literary study on die forging and made calculations forging on a vertical crank press LMZ 1000 with nominal forging force of 10MN was designed (producer ŠMERAL Brno). Lower and upper ejectors are used for ejection of components. Induction furnace type SOP 250/6-A30 P/L/T will be used for heating of the raw material. Trimming will be performed using trimming press LDO 315 A/S with press force of 3,15 MN. Dies are made of instrumental steel 19 663.9, for their clamping die clamping device QLZK 1000/UC will be used. A part of this project is economic evaluation of the production and development of production drawings. Keywords: solid forming, die forging, steel forging, holder

Výroba držáku objemovým tvářením / Production of holder by solid forming

Šimon, Miroslav January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this dissertation is to design an optimal technological processing of a given component by solid forming. This work includes a bibliographic study, which is the source of information for the solutions. Another important topic is the global technological processing of the given component: to begin with gear blank design until the final product. The best option seems to be the die forging on forging press in three steps. From an economical point of view, the die forging realized according to the designed technological processing appears to be the best solution.

Výroba opěry tvářením / Production of support by forming

Palán, Robert January 2008 (has links)
PALÁN Robert, Production of support forming.A graduation thesis of master´s studies, Mechanical engineering, Department M2307 Metal forging technology, Specialization 02 Forming, Welding, 2. graduate, 2. year, school – year 2007/2008. FSI VUT Brno, ÚST Department of Metal Forging Technology, May 2008, page NO 66, picture NO 36, chart NO 8, suplement NO 12 The graduation thesis, drew up with in the frame of engeneering studies department M2307, submits a concept of a production by forming. A materiál of a forget piece is steel ČSN 12 050, provided as a semi – finished product in a form of a bar 210 mm, lenght 4 000 mm. The particular dimension stocks with be cut from it to forge out a part. Production work is 100 000 pcs. Based on studies of technologies, suitable for producing the part a specific two stage technology of a drop forging was chozen on a vertical forging press LMZ 6 500, with induction heating of the semi – finished product and a product – trim of fin and pellicle or a trimming press LDO 315 A/S. For this alternate all the required calculations are realized of swages and all the necessary machines for the production of are quested enganget part.

Determinação da influência de parâmetros de processo de forjamento a quente utilizando DOE (projeto de experimentos)

Farias, Marcelo Fernandes January 2017 (has links)
Nowadays the Design of Experiments (DOE) has been widely used to determine the most significant project and process factors affecting a response variable and to establish empirical models among the factors, although this method is still little used and the process of hot forging. This work analyzes the individual and cumulative influence of some controllable parameters in a closed die hot forging process in the pressing force required for its realization. This analysis was performed using a Design of Experiments (DOE) method. To determine the influence of variable factors selected in response Design of Experiments (DOE), a several tests varying the lubricant, the diameter of the billet and the forging temperature was performed. The response variable for the experiment was defined as pressing force. For this study, it was used the ABNT 4140 steel provided in drawn bars of 28,6mm (1 1/8 ″). The fator that had more influence over the pressing force was the lubricant. Other factors, whether or not combined, did not show a significant influence on the response variable. This study demonstrates that it is possible use techniques to set hot forging process parameters reliably and without necesside the application of complex computer simulation programs or the trial and error system. Finally, this work reinforces the versatility of Design of Experiments (DOE) wich is still little used in forging processes.

Study on Forging and Thread-rolling Processes of Magnesium Alloy Screws

Huang, Kai-neng 29 August 2011 (has links)
This study investigated effects of the process parameters on the forging load and metal flow pattern during forging and thread-rolling these two process of LZ91 magnesium alloy small size screw by the finite element analysis. At first, Compression tests were carried out under various forming temperatures to study the flow stress. Then, FEM software DEFORM-2D is adopted to simulate forging and thread-rolling processes of small screw to analyze the formability and parameters. In one of this study, there are two stages in forging process, and found out that up-die velocity, temperatures and friction factors will affect the product quality and appearance; on the other part, it investigated the effect of friction factor and temperature under thread-rolling process, and found out that effective stress, effective strain, metal flow and height of thread will be affected. In addition, conduct forging and thread-rolling experiments by using universal testing machine with the mold self-designed, and MoS2 of lubricant, and comparing the analytical results to verify the suitability and accuracy of FEM for forging process. Finally, according to the analysis result of this study, engineers can take it as reference.
