Sua relev?ncia consiste em valorizar a presen?a do conto de horror na sala de aula, visto que o medo experimentado por meio desse g?nero ? um modo de conhecer e de fortalecer nossas estruturas emocionais para fazer face aos horrores da vida. O medo ? o sentimento mais antigo, mais forte da humanidade e, destes, o medo do desconhecido talvez seja o mais poderoso. A pesquisa foi realizada em uma escola p?blica do munic?pio de Natal/RN,Brasil, em uma turma de 5? ano do ensino fundamental com 17 sujeitos. Filia-se ? pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, na qual se privilegiou a observa??o participante com interven??o. Como instrumentos para constru??o de dados, recorreu-se ? grava??o em v?deo, a entrevistas e ao di?rio de campo. A professora titular da turma recebeu forma??o para atuar como mediadora do processo. As sess?es de leitura de literatura de horror foram apoiadas na metodologia de andaimagem (scaffolding) descrita por Graves e Graves (1995). O foco de an?lise privilegiou a forma??o docente e a experimenta??o do leitor ao medo atrav?s das aulas de Literatura de Horror. O corpus liter?rio foi composto pelos contos dos livros ?Sete ossos e uma maldi??o? de Rosa Amanda Strausz (2013) e ?Sete hist?rias para balan?ar o esqueleto? de Angela Lago (2011) em um total de 8 sess?es de leitura de literatura. O aporte te?rico fundamenta-se em estudos da literatura e inf?ncia: Amarilha (2009), Bettelheim (2015), Zilberman (2004). Literatura de Horror: Burke (2013), Eco (1994), Fran?a (2008), Lovecraft (2007), Todorov (2010; 2014), dentre outros. Os resultados apontam para a necessidade de haver forma??o espec?fica para o trabalho com o conto de horror, que pode encontrar resist?ncia por parte do mediador; os aprendizes se engajaram nas sess?es de leitura, demonstraram apreciar o g?nero e apresentaram criticidade aos temas abordados. A literatura de horror provoca no leitor o sentimento de medo f?sico ou psicol?gico; o crit?rio final de autenticidade de uma obra de horror n?o ? o enredo, mas o tipo de sensa??o que ela ? capaz de produzir. Se a literatura de horror lida com sentimento t?o fundamental do ser humano - o medo, ent?o, ? relevante que ela seja acess?vel aos jovens leitores, como um ensaio geral para a vida. / The study investigated the interface between horror literature and education. Its relevance refers to the valorization of the presence of horror stories in the classroom once the fear experienced through this genre is a way of knowing and strengthening our emotional structures to face horrors in life. Fear is the oldest feeling, the strongest of mankind, and among its several kinds, the fear related to the stranger is perhaps the most powerful. The research was carried out in a public school in the city of Natal/RN, Brazil, in a class of 5th grade of elementary school with 17 students. The study is based on a qualitative research that focused on the participant observation with intervention. Video records, interviews and field diary were used as instruments for data construction. The teacher of the class was trained to act as mediator of the process. The reading sessions of horror literature were supported by the scaffolding methodology described by Graves and Graves (1995). The focus of the analysis was on the teacher training and the fear reader experimentation through Horror Literature classes. The literary corpus was composed by short stories of the book "Sete ossos e uma maldi??o" by Rosa Amanda Strausz (2013) and "Sete hist?rias para balan?ar o esqueleto" by Angela Lago (2011), totalizing 8 literature reading sessions. The theoretical contribution is based on children?s literature studies: Amarilha (2009), Bettelheim (2015), Zilberman (2004); Horror Literature: Burke (2013), Eco (1994), France (2008), Lovecraft (2007), Todorov (2010; 2014), among others. The results point to the need for specific training on the work with horror stories, which may encounter resistance from the mediator; the apprentices engaged in the reading sessions, demonstrating appreciation of the genre and presenting criticality to the themes; horror literature causes the feeling of physical or psychological fear in the reader; the ultimate criterion for a work authenticity is not the plot, but the kind of sensation it is able to produce. If horror literature deals with such a fundamental human feeling - fear - it is relevant, therefore, that it becomes accessible to young readers as a general experiment for life.

These productions were developed during the participation of the learning subjects in the structing project "Artistic Patrimonial Education" (EPA) promoted annually by State of Bahia?s Educational Department in their high schools. The photo books are produced with historical research and pictures of cultural patrimony (material and immaterial) of the of the subjects? hometown, which were taken with cameras of their smartphones. This data collection was aimed with the purposes of: to analyze the visual productions (photo books), in order to understand their relevance in the reading and cultural constitution of the subject; to recognize the profile of the students who participate in the Artistic Patrimonial Education project in this school; to analyze the collected material(photo books and testimonials of the subjects), observing their socio educational and interpretive potential, from the perspective of critical understanding of visual culture; and to reflect on the process of producing the photo books in the formative processes of the learning subjects as readers and producers of meanings. This is qualitative approach research, inspired by the hermeneutic perspective, which is also used as a method of analyzing the data collected during field research. The methodological procedures performed during the research were analytical observation of photo books made in 2013, 2014 and 2015 in this state high school; a discussion meeting with the participation of ten (10) learners who were part of the project in the 2014 and 2015 editions. Semi-structured interviews with some of the subjects who participated of the EPA project, as well as with teachers of the high school who were also advisors in the project. This study is based on the theoretical field of Visual Culture, where the image is understood among the subjects as having meanings, in a critical perspective of their social roles and functions, from the simple appreciation of images to the formation of interpreters and producers of visual texts. / A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo maior compreender o potencial formativo das produ??es visuais no processo de constitui??o cultural e leitora dos sujeitos no Col?gio Estadual de Quixabeira, localizado na cidade de Quixabeira/Bahia. Essas produ??es foram constru?das durante a participa??o dos sujeitos aprendentes no Projeto Estruturante ?Educa??o Patrimonial Art?stica? promovido anualmente pela Secretaria de Educa??o do Estado da Bahia nas escolas de ensino m?dio da rede. Os ?lbuns fotogr?ficos s?o elaborados com a pesquisa e fotografia de patrim?nio cultural (material e imaterial) do lugar de viv?ncia dos sujeitos, que s?o feitos com a c?mara do celular. A recep??o da crian?a com defici?ncia intelectual ao texto liter?rio na educa??o infantil

Based on a study case, we search the ways of participation of a child (girl) with intellectual deficiency in situations of offering and reception of literary texts, looking for the understanding and explication of some aspects of her processing and the building up of an initial reader. The data were taken starting from observations in moments of reading and story-telling in the period from November to December/2008 and May to June/2009 in a public school of children education, in Natal- Brazil, in which there was a registered student showing intellectual deficiency associated to Down syndrome. As research tools we used: field diary, interview scripts and video recordings. The analyses were based on research from Amarilha (2001, 2006a, 2006b), Bettelheim (2007), Coelho (2008), Iser (1996), Jauss (1979, 1994), Luria (1990a, 1990b), Vygotsky (1991, 1993), Wallon (2007, 2008) amongst others. The research showed that although expressing little verbalization and limited levels of attention, body attitudes, movements and talks of the child under investigation, denounced engagement and rendition to the sonority of the texts shared. These data gives us traces that, under a mediating action, the child with intellectual limitation can turn into a reader/hearing subject of literature, developing a sensitive and a selective attitude towards the literary text. Amongst other aspects, we identified that (1) a conception of deficiency present through the school that recognizes his/her potential of developing and learning (2) the situation of sharing, that favours a relation with the texts through the other, and (3) the relevance of orality providing the semantic paths that help the child in the building up of meaning, presenting themselves as fundamental to her/his viewing of the literary text, and, therefore, the formation of the reader. Thus, recognizing her/his capacity and possibilities, we think it is important to guarantee to the child with intellectual deficiency, a space towards interaction with the fictional text in which the child can learn and live its ludic and interactive character, to enjoy its hearing abilities, benefiting, then, from the aesthetic experience lived, mainly, in collective situations mediated through the more experient reader and shared with her/his different pairs. The research shows yet that, looking after conditions that guarantee a comfortable environment to the story hearings in the classrooms that focus on children education, being aware of a selection and the prosody of stories, the didactic contract, the attention to individual reactions, enlarge the possibility of any child deficient or not to enjoy her/himself as reader/ hearing subject of literature, engaged in its richness and magic / Focalizamos nesta tese a recep??o da crian?a com defici?ncia intelectual ao texto liter?rio, a partir da observa??o de uma viv?ncia liter?ria num contexto escolar inclusivo, evidenciando as possibilidades que se apresentam na sua constru??o como leitora/ouvinte de literatura. Mediante um estudo de caso, investigamos os modos de participa??o dessa crian?a em situa??es de oferta e recep??o de textos liter?rios, buscando compreender e explicitar os aspectos de seu processo de forma??o leitora inicial. Os dados foram levantados a partir de observa??es nos momentos de leitura e de conta??o de hist?rias no per?odo de novembro e dezembro/2008 e maio e junho/2009, numa turma de uma escola de Educa??o Infantil na qual se encontrava matriculada a referida crian?a, cuja defici?ncia intelectual est? associada ? S?ndrome de Down. Como instrumentos de pesquisa foram utilizados: di?rio de campo, roteiros de entrevistas e videograva??es. As an?lises fundamentaram-se nos estudos de Amarilha (2001, 2006a, 2006b), Bettelheim (2007), Coelho (2008), Iser (1996), Jauss (1979, 1994), Luria (1990a, 1990b), Vygotsky (1991, 1993), Wallon (2007, 2008) dentre outros. O estudo mostrou que, embora pouco se expressando verbalmente e, por vezes, apresentando limitados n?veis de aten??o, as atitudes corporais, os movimentos e as falas da crian?a investigada denunciaram engajamento e rendi??o ao apelo da sonoridade dos textos partilhados. Esses dados revelam ind?cios de que, sob o patroc?nio de uma a??o mediadora, a crian?a com defici?ncia intelectual pode constituir-se como uma leitora/ouvinte de literatura, desenvolvendo uma escuta sens?vel, seletiva e atenta ao texto liter?rio. Dentre outros aspectos, identificamos que a concep??o de defici?ncia apresentada pela escola, que reconhece seu potencial de desenvolvimento e de aprendizagem, a situa??o de partilhamento, que favorece o exercitar de diferentes formas de se relacionar com os textos atrav?s do outro, e a relev?ncia da oralidade fornecendo as pistas sem?nticas que auxiliam a crian?a na constru??o de sentidos, apresentam-se como fundamentais para seu acercamento ao texto liter?rio, e, portanto, sua forma??o leitora. Dessa forma, reconhecendo suas capacidades e possibilidades, acreditamos ser importante garantir ? crian?a com defici?ncia intelectual um espa?o para a intera??o com o texto ficcional no qual ela possa aprender a reconhecer e vivenciar o seu car?ter l?dico e interativo, degustar de forma prazerosa a sua escuta, beneficiando-se, assim, da experi?ncia est?tica vivenciada, principalmente quando em situa??es coletivas mediadas pelo leitor mais experiente e partilhadas com seus diferentes pares.
