Thus, one searchs with this research to verify as the official futures of Military Police of the Paraíba perceive the Human Rights and its applicability in its práxis daily. The methodology this study uses a qualitative boarding and carrying through an analysis of content of the perceptions of the pupils of the Course of Formation of Officers of the Military Policy of the Paraíba on its formation in Human Rights and Citizenship, the conceptions that guide its daily one and the implications in practical its. It presents the evolution of the conceptions on the human rights throughout history. It analyzes the formation of the pupil to the light of estimated of the law and the too much aspects that turn on the subject, approaching as if of the a construction of knowing them and of the abilities of the military policeman in human rights and as these must be applied to take care of to the necessities of the society. We conclude that the necessity of a permanent process of formation of the policeman exists, where theoretical and methodological references permanently are evaluated and reconstructed, therefore only one well sedimented theoretical recital is not enough, is necessary that the professionals of the security publish, either Militate Policy, Civilian or Federal lives deeply moments of reflection on its practical formation and its. / Abordar o tema Direitos Humanos e Polícia em uma única proposta é bastante pertinente diante dos problemas relacionados a violência que se encontra presente na sociedade brasileira neste inicio de século. Assim, busca-se com esta pesquisa verificar como os futuros oficiais da Policia Militar da Paraíba percebem os Direitos Humanos e sua aplicabilidade na sua práxis cotidiana. Metodologicamente esse estudo utiliza uma abordagem qualitativa e realizando uma análise de conteúdo das percepções dos alunos do Curso de Formação de Oficiais da Polícia Militar da Paraíba sobre sua formação em Direitos Humanos e Cidadania, as concepções que orientam o seu cotidiano e as implicações em sua prática. Apresenta a evolução das concepções sobre os direitos humanos ao longo da história. Analisa a formação do aluno à luz dos pressupostos da lei e demais aspectos que versam sobre o assunto, abordando como se dá a construção dos saberes e das competências do policial militar em direitos humanos e como estes devem ser aplicados para atender às necessidades da sociedade. Concluímos que existe a necessidade de um processo permanente de formação do policial, onde referências teóricas e metodológicas sejam permanentemente avaliadas e reconstruídas, pois não é suficiente apenas uma fundamentação teórica bem sedimentada, é preciso que os profissionais da segurança publica, seja Polícia Militar, Civil ou Federal vivenciem momentos de reflexão sobre a sua formação e suas práticas.
