Para isso, apresentaremos reflexões conceituais acerca das relações existentes entre a literatura e o teatro, ilustrando-as com um breve levantamento de como se apresenta o posicionamento do narrador em alguns contos brasileiros contemporâneos, para que possamos situar e compreender de que modo o autor em estudo consegue explorar nos seus textos a ausência e/ou presença do narrador. O corpus é constituído por cinco contos cuja forma assenta-se nos diálogos e outros cinco que se configuram como monólogos / This study pretends to analyze the configuration of the short narratives by the contemporary brazilian writer Marcelino Freire, especially some tales in which is seem the absence of the narrator and the use of some mechanisms and expressive resources that belong to dramaturgy. For this, will be shown some conceptual reflections about the relations between literature and theater, illustrating them with a summary study about the presence of the narrator in some brazilian contemporary tales, in order to situate and understand the way the author in this study is able to explore in his texts the absence and/or the narrator's presence. The corpus is composed by five tales whose form settle in the dialogs and other five that configure as monologs
