An Operational Management Competency Model for Online Education Administrators

Demarks, Fanniel 01 January 2018 (has links)
Despite the steady rise in online education and increasingly empirical studies on related learning technologies and technology support, there is considerable evidence that the field has not kept the pace with studies related to online education administrators (OEAs). Further investigation was needed into OEAs’ practice of day-to-day administration of their programs. Therefore, this study examined OEAs’ perceptions of their areas of responsibility, tasks to be accomplished and skills and knowledge needed for them to get the job done. A three-round Delphi research technique was employed as a structured group communication method between five participants to answer three research questions. The protocol consisted of anonymous participants using online surveys to respond to several rounds of questioning. The research concluded with a group consensus. The results produced nine functional areas, 12 operational tasks and 14 competencies of skills and knowledge for OEAs. Based on the findings, it was now possible to illustrate an operational management competency model as a resource for the administrator in charge of an online education program. After conclusions were drawn, the study provided recommendations for future research.

Začlenění nových ploch suburbanizace do okolní krajiny / The incorporation of new areas of suburbanization into the surrounding landscape

DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Marta January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis evaluates the spatial plans of chosen municipalities of commercial and residential suburbanization in the area of České Budějovice. The issue of research were particularly old and new plans of both municipalities and their comparison, including the proposal of new functional areas in the territory. The most important documentary used were the spatial plans of municipalities and following terrain research . Results are presented by both - text and graphic form. For processing the results geographic information systém ArcGIS 10 was used.

Vyhodnocení vývoje dokumentace územního plánu ve zvolené lokalitě / Assessment of urban planning documentation development in selected locality

ŠRUC, Lukáš January 2018 (has links)
The Master Thesis deals with the evaluation of the development of territorial plans documentation in the cadastral territory of the town Trebon. The main objective is the evaluation and comparison of the spatial arrangement of the individual functional areas in the territorial plans from the years 1959, 1976, 1993 and 2012; and the contribution of the plans to the development, accouterment, and protection of the examined territory. Another part of the thesis is an own proposal of changes to the current territorial plan. The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts, the history of the legal regulation of spatial planning in the Czech Republic, forms, subjects and processes in spatial planning, the geography of the city and suburbanization. The methodological part describes the database with the issue of its acquisition; the methodical procedure of unifying the legends of the individual spatial plans; and the characteristics of the examined territory. In the analytical part, there is evaluated the historical development of the building composition in Trebon, the conclusions regarding the representation of the individual functional areas in the spatial plans and the comparison of their development. An important component of the thesis is the map outputs presenting the spatial arrangement of functional areas in the territory of Trebon in the analyzed territorial plans.

Rozbor a zhodnocení vlivů textury povrchu zkušebních vzorků / Analysis and Evaluation of Surface Texture Effects of Tested Samples

Fuciman, Lukáš January 2020 (has links)
The thesis deals with an evaluation of the surface texture of various materials, created by machining technologies (turning, milling and grinding). As for the theoretical part of the thesis, it contains a theoretical analysis of the effect of surface texture on friction, wear, coating and lubricating properties. The main emphasis is put on the analysis of the most frequently evaluated profile and surface parameters as well as their possible influence on the functional areas of machined parts. The experimental part includes evaluated and compared measured data based on the monitored parameters with benefits for machinery industry.
