Design of Five-Speed Gear-type Transmissions for Two Wheel Vehicles

Chang, Shan-sheng 10 September 2007 (has links)
The gear type transmissions has good performance. And it can offer the proper rotating ratio to make the dynamical system and transmission of the vehicle obtain the good match result. Apply to the transmissions of various kinds of vehicles extensively. The purpose of this research lies in the five-speed gear type transmissions. And sets up the theory of a systematized design method. The type of carrying on the transmissions by way of systematization is designed, cam mechanism to design, shifter mechanism to design and dispose overallly systematically. At first, sum up the function that the transmissions and basic characteristic to the transmissions of existing motorcycle. Set up the design specification form of the transmissions. Secondly propose a systematized designing program and carrying on the design of the gear box. And then to the gear type transmissions, cylinder cam and shifter mechanism. And carry on the innovation of handling the organization to design with movement route analytic approach and morphology matrix. Dispose overallly the five-speed gear type transmissions. Finally, set up the type picture collection of the gear type transmissions, in order to benefit the design of the motorcycle gear type transmissions. The achievement of this research contributes to the cart the innovation of the five-speed gear type transmissions designed.

Constant Speed Mechanism of Planetary Gear Train

Lin, Feng-Tien 12 September 2007 (has links)
In current years, searching for substitute energy such as the wind and ocean power of renewable energy is an important subject due to the petroleum shortage. The gear box is the key mechanism in the system of wind and ocean power. Moreover, the main function of the system is to generate electricity by speeding up the rotative velocity. However, the power of environment changes momentarily and makes the turbine a variable input. In order to improve the efficiency of generating electricity, it should get the constant input to keep the high quality of generating electricity. First of all, the study focuses on the gear box and synthesizes a constant speed mechanism of planetary gear train which degrees of freedom is two. In the mechanism, inputs are the variable speed turbine and a constant speed motor. When they input the mechanism, a constant speed output will be made to supply the generator. Secondly, it is necessary to set up the real object of the constant speed mechanism of planetary gear train. Finally, observing the real condition from the experiment to prove the theory is correct.

Modernizace brzdového stanoviště pro osobní automobily / Modernizing of Dynamometer for Passenger Vehicle

Meduna, Martin January 2009 (has links)
The basic aim of this thesis is to design optimisation of the brake bench in question. For this kind of optimisation, it was necessary to ascertain which failings the current brake bench exhibited. After ascertaining such failings, design of modification to this brake bench must be performed. In terms of this thesis, it was ascertained that the brake bench has insufficient brake power. Based on this finding, two alternatives for modifications have been selected. The first is replacement of the dynamometer and the second is insertion of a gear box into the brake bench. Rigidity analysis was performed on the gear casing.

Investigation of rotational velocity sensors

Törnquist, Martin January 2008 (has links)
<p><p>To improve the speed measurement of construction equipment, different sensor technologies have been investigated. Many of these sensor technologies are very interesting but to keep the extent of the thesis only two was chosen for testing, magnetic absolute angle sensors using Hall and GMR technology, to investigate if those are a valid replacement for the current measurement system that is using a passive sensor. Tests show that these sensors are capable of speed measurement, but because of noisy angle estimates they need filtering for good speed computation. This filtering introduces a large time delay that is of significance for the quality of the estimate. A Kalman filter has been implemented in an attempt to lower the time delays but since only a very simple model has been used it does not give any improvements over ordinary low pass filtering. For these sensors the mounting tolerance is of great interest. For best performance the offset between the sensor and magnet centres need to be kept small for both sensors. This is due to a non-linearity effect this causes. The distance between the sensors and the magnet is not critical for linearity issues, but only for the quality of the signal, where it might drop out when the distance is too large. This is where the sensor using GMR technology stands out. Compared to the Hall technology sensor, the GMR sensor can handle distances that are more than 10 times larger. The conclusion is that these sensors can be a valid replacement of the current measurement system. They will introduce more functionality with the capability of detecting rotational direction and zero velocity. In an application with more than one sensor they can also be used for more purposes, like detecting slip in clutches etc. Depending on the application, the time delays may not be critical, else more work need to be done to improve the estimate, e.g. with a more advanced model for the Kalman filter.</p></p><p> </p>

Šardický, Jakub January 2018 (has links)
The thesis deals with the search of the current sequential gearboxes and the structural shift of the Škoda Felicia 1.6 MPI synchronous transmission to the manual sequential gearbox. Based on the assignment, the schematic reconstruction principle is included. This principle i s then elaborated into a detailed design and the thesis focuses on strength analysis of newly created parts of reconstruction, optimization of these parts and control of their fatigue life. The thesis ends with the theoretical continuation of mechanical conversion to a fully electronic sequential gearbox.
