Στην παρούσα εργασία ανιχνεύθηκε και μελετήθηκε υπολογιστικά πρωτεΐνη ομόλογη της ανθρώπινης Geminin, που αποτελεί μία από τις πρωτεΐνες ρυθμιστές του κυτταρικού κύκλου. Η συγκεκριμένη πρωτεΐνη αναφέρεται ως GemininB. Η ανίχνευση της GemininB πραγματοποιήθηκε μέσω της ομολογίας της με την ανθρώπινη Geminin. Εδράζεται στο πέμπτο χρωμόσωμα (5q11.2) και συγκεκριμένα μεταξύ των βάσεων 54559720-54551204, ενώ η Geminin εδράζεται στο έκτο χρωμόσωμα, και έχει μήκος 8517bp. / In the present work it was detected and was studied calculatingly protein counterpart of human Geminin, that constitutes one from the proteins regulators of cellular circle. The particular protein is reported as GemininB. The detection of GemininB was realised via her consent with human Geminin. It abuts in the fifth chromosome (5q11.2) and concretely between bases 54559720-54551204, while Geminin abuts in the sixth chromosome, and has length 8517bp.
