El objetivo de la presente investigación es hallar el valor fundamental de la empresa Leche Gloria S.A. (en adelante, Gloria o la Empresa) al cierre del 2017, teniendo como referencia el precio cotizado por dicha empresa al mismo periodo. Para este fin, utilizamos el método de flujo de caja descontado tomando en consideración como fuentes de información los estados financieros auditados de los periodos 2008 al 2017, además de fuentes como Class & Asociados, Apoyo & Asociados, Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (BCRP), Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática (INEI), Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL), Ministerio de Agricultura y Riesgo (MINAGRI) y herramientas como el Bloomberg. Adicionalmente se utilizó también el método de múltiplos comparables. En el primer método, se empleó el valor del WACC calculado de 9,72% y un CAPM de 11,36%, con lo cual obtenemos un valor para la acción de inversión de Gloria de 7,90 soles frente a un precio de 6,5 soles al cierre del 2017. Para el método de múltiplos comparables se analizaron 4 empresas que cumplen con indicadores de similitud con Gloria, obteniendo resultados de 9,61 para EV/Ventas y 9,12 para EV/ EBITDA. Los resultados obtenidos reflejan el posicionamiento en el mercado nacional de una de las empresas históricas y más emblemáticas que tenemos en el Perú y que pese a haber tenido un traspié “reputacional” por el caso Pura Vida (para mayor detalle se presenta el anexo 1), sigue manteniéndose como una marca sólida. Lo descrito marca el lineamiento por el cual el grupo que presenta el presente trabajo escoge la empresa para el análisis respectivo. Finalmente, dado que el valor obtenido resulta mayor al precio de cierre de 2017 de S/ 6,5, y considerando los aspectos cualitativos tan fuertes y marcados de la empresa en el mercado, se recomienda mantener la acción.

La presente valorización se ha basado en información financiera anual proyectada a diez años, entre el periodo 2016-2025, así como en una revisión histórica entre los años 2009-2015 de Gloria S.A (Gloria). Para ello, se ha utilizado las siguientes metodologías: 1) Flujos de Caja Descontados y 2) Múltiplos de Compañías Cotizadas Comparables, encontrándose en todos los casos un valor fundamental por encima de la cotización de mercado (S/. 5.90) a la fecha de valorización (31.12.2015) para la acción de inversión.

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objetivo valorizar la empresa Gloria S.A. (en adelante Gloria o la compañía), estimando un valor por acción a diciembre de 2016. Gloria tiene 76 años participando en el sector lácteo peruano, el que lidera con más del 70% de participación de mercado, compitiendo con otras empresas como Laive, Nestlé, y pequeños productores artesanales, quienes complementan la oferta nacional.

Book Summary: Treating the cultural giants of the 20th century, this volume traces their reading habits and intellectual development, as well as their contributions to Western culture. Suggesting the literary influences on these figures, the book includes 355 entries on people from a broad range of fields, including scientists, politicians, business figures, writers, religious leaders, and figures from the performing arts and popular culture. The volume is a handy companion to Powell's earlier volume, Biographical Dictionary of Literary Influences: The Nineteenth Century, 1800-1914. Reflecting non-Western influences on Western culture, the volume includes such Asian and African figures as Mohandas Gandhi and Wole Soyinka, while also covering the significant Western figures. As the volume recognizes, forms of cultural influence evolved in the 20th century to include more aural and visual influences. Yet the volume still reveals fascinating literary influences throughout the century.

The personal is political, the political is personal. This mantra has inspired feminist thought for decades because of its emphasis on disclosing the personal in the name of consciousness raising, an important form of feminist activism focused on making what is invisible visible in the spirit of bringing about radical change. Feminist theorist Gloria Anzaldúa's inspirational writings epitomize the transformative power of incorporating the personal in academic theorizing. Her work has encouraged us to not only reimagine what counts as knowledge, but to "risk the personal" in our own writing. My thesis contributes to the burgeoning field of Anzaldúan studies by asserting the value of "risking the personal" in academic writing. I open up, immerse in, and expose my wound as I contend with the greatest rupture in my life yet. On January 23, 2011, merely two years ago, a single phone call broke my heart and soul. My 48 year-old mother was dead. My thesis is an autohistoria-teoría that aims to examine the suffering consciousness that arises when we experience traumatic ruptures that shatter our worlds. Specifically, I use Anzaldúa's theory of conocimiento as an epistemological framework to map my movements in consciousness as I write about my mother's unexpected death. I offer my personal account of grief to shatter the silence around death, revealing the complexity that surrounds and defines loss by giving voice to the marginalized experience of losing a mother as a young woman. I then write about the role of writing in the face of ruptures, arguing that writing is a powerful tool in developing conocimiento. After descending into my wound, I begin my spiritual activism by examining the power of opening ourselves to alternative ways of knowing. I immerse myself in Tibetan Buddhism, embracing its perspectives and contemplating impermanence. All of this in the service of developing conocimiento, a revolutionary mindset dedicated to constant transformation. This transformation is a process of personal and collective healing that acknowledges our interconnectedness. We all experience similar journeys of rupture, pain, and growth. Let us use this connection to improve ourselves, our communities, and our world. / text
