Having as study object the subjective constitution of the worker was used as methodology dialectic the Epistemologia Qualitativa (Qualitative Epistemology) of Fernando Gonzalez Rey (1999). Open interviews ("conversation) and construction and application of an instrument called to complete phrases " were carried through. The analyses were made by the constructive method - interpretative where the interpretations are constructed during the passage of the research. The results allowed understanding how each worker studied configures the quality of life, leading to infer that the quality of life defines itself not for the objective reality, but for the subjective reality, that integrate subjective and objective dimensions. It allows us to understand the quality of life not standardized and singular, but something, but a subjective configuration susceptible of multiple singular forms. The final considerations do not represent a conclusion, but they indicate new ways for understanding the subjective constitution of the quality of life, disclosing new theoretical constructions concerning the subject and of the human being - worker. / O presente trabalho busca a compreensão da constituição subjetiva da qualidade de vida do trabalhador, através do estudo de caso com quatro sujeitos de duas diferentes organizações da cidade de Goiânia/GO. Tendo como objeto de estudo a constituição subjetiva da qualidade de vida do trabalhador utilizou-se como fundamento epistemológico a Epistemologia Qualitativa de González Rey (1999), assim como a metodológica desenvolvida pelo autor a partir desta abordagem. Foram realizadas entrevistas abertas, que tomaram caráter de conversação. Também foi usado o completamento de frases, na versão desenvolvida por González Rey. As análises foram realizadas pelo método construtivo- interpretativo onde as interpretações foram construídas durante o percurso da pesquisa. Os resultados obtidos permitiram compreender como se configura a qualidade de vida para cada trabalhador estudado, levando a inferir que a qualidade de vida se define não apenas pelos aspetos objetivos da vida da pessoa, mas pelos sentidos subjetivos que se configuram na experiência vivida, os que integram numa outra dimensão ontológica a experiência de vida da pessoa. Os resultados da pesquisa nos permitiram compreender a qualidade de vida não como algo padronizado e sim como uma configuração subjetiva suscetível de múltiplas formas singulares. As considerações finais não representam uma conclusão, mas indicam novos caminhos para à compreensão da constituição subjetiva da qualidade de vida, revelando novas construções teóricas acerca do tema e do ser humano trabalhador.
