Objectives: 1) to describe grain market development in the world, EU and Lithuania; 2) to establish differences between grain market regulation in EU and Cairn’s group countries; 3) to analyze grain market change in Lithuania; 4) to establish and compare grain market intervention system in Lithuania before integration to EU and after; 5) clarify grain market perspectives in the world, EU and Lithuania. Research methods – analysis and synthesis, classification of statistics, the grouping of statistics facts, monographic, logical and graphical modelling methods. In the way of studies of Lithuanian and abroad authors’ literature, statutes of The Republic of Lithuania and the other documents about grain and its market, FAOSTAT, EUROSTAT databases in this final project are established and described the development, regulation and perspectives of grain market in the world, EU and Lithuania.
