Studium tepelných a fyzikálních vlastností skladovacích kontejnerů pro použité jaderné palivo / Spent fuel storage casks thermal and physical properties investigation

Hlatký, Pavel January 2011 (has links)
This work deals with questions of spent fuel storage casks thermal and physical properties investigation. Foundations of mathematics which are necessary for describing field of temperature are included. The work itself contains calculation methods which are split into two parts. The first one deals with simplified analytic solution and the second part solves the whole problem by the numerical computation.

Analýza předčištění pracovní látky pro účely výměny tepla / Analysis of proces fluid pretreatment for heat exchange purpose

Navrátil, Ondřej January 2012 (has links)
This thesis is devoted purification of a gas stream with solid and liquid particles. The problem described in the thesis is connected with a real industrial case – problem of operated waste gas incineration plant. Waste gas going to thermal incineration to flame of natural gas combustion contains solid and liquid particles. Presence of particles causes fouling of waste gas preheater. The main objective of thesis is analysis of situation and operating and space limitations and design of a suitable type of particle collector to reliable elimination of particles from waste gas before entering the gas preheater and thus to mitigation of fouling of preheater heat transfer area.

Heuristické algoritmy pro optimalizaci / Heuristic Algorithms in Optimization

Komínek, Jan January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with genetic algorithms and their properties. Particular emphasis is placed on finding the influence of mutation and population size. Genetic algorithms are applied on inverse heat conduction problems (IHCP) in the second part of the thesis. Several different approaches and coding methods were tested. Properties of genetic algorithms were improved by definition of two new genetic operators – manipulation and sorting. Reported theoretical findings were tested on the real data of inverse heat conduction problem. The library for easy implementation of GA for solving general optimization problems in C ++ was created and is described in the last chapter.

Konstrukční řešení teplosměnné plochy a její zanášení u výměníků z dutých plastových vláken / Heat transfer surfaces design and fouling of the heat exchangers from hollow plastic fibers

Bokišová, Lenka January 2012 (has links)
This thesis studies a possibility of using hollow fibres for construction of innovative heat exchangers. The first part introduces to the field of heat exchangers and polymers as materials suitable for formation of heat transfer surfaces. Further, the potential of hollow fibres of small diameters is outlined, including the merits, limits and proposals for improving. The significant part of the work is dedicated to the review of methods of fibres fixation and separation and review of fouling and cleaning of heat exchangers. Overviews of design possibilities which prevent fibres clustering have been made. The solutions, which are prepared for experimental research at Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Laboratory are stated, including analysis of “curly” fibres application. The next part presents calculations for models of water – water and water – air heat exchangers and discusses influence of fibre diameter, flow velocity and the other parameters on heat characteristics. The heat transfer and fluid flow formulas using for heat exchangers of a bigger order can be employed with small changes. Furthermore, the influence of hollow fibres arrangement and distances on heat transfer is discussed.

Výpočty kondenzátorů páry / Calculations of steam condensers

Mifek, Roman January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with the calculation procedures for determining the heat transfer coefficient for steam condensers. The first section provides a basic overview for industrial steam condensers and possible procedure for selecting the appropriate type of tube condenser. The next section describes the types of condensation and equations for determining the heat transfer coefficient for various geometries of tubular condensers. In the final section there is performed practical calculation of condenser in Maple software using the above relations. The results obtained in this calculation are compared with the results obtained by professional computational software Chemcad and HTRI.

Součinitele přestupu tepla na parou obtékaných plochách parních turbín / Heat transfer coefficient on surfaces of steam turbines

Belko, Milan January 2013 (has links)
This thesis in introductory part aims to analyze the available literature on the heat transfer coefficient in labyrinth seals and rotating discs of steam turbines. The available experiment studies were processed to summarize heat transfer coefficients on the rotating parts of the turbine. Then, this thesis specifies a design calculation to determine the heat transfer coefficient in selected parts of the turbine, exercisable for specific geometric and operating parameters. The outcome of this work is simulation of rotor dilation of operating steam turbine in the program Ansys during cold start of turbine.

Výpočtový model kotle KWH / Computational Model of KWH Boiler

Koiš, Jiří January 2014 (has links)
The subject of this thesis is the computational model of existing KWH boiler. There is a short research in the introduction, which deals with combustion heat of considered boiler.  The stoichiometric and balance calculations of gasification chamber ZKG are performed first. The Balance calculations are based on the boiler thermal loss calculations, the losses were determined experimentally. The entire calculation is processed in a computational program for purposses of debugging and manipulation with partial calculations. The computational model that is proposed in this thesis provide better boiler proces understandig. The real boiler measurement is performed for evaluation. The next point is the result analyses, that shows potential boiler efficiency improvements.

Ventilace tlakové obálky reaktoru GFR / Heat transfer in the pressure cover of the GFR reactor

Koryčanský, Roman January 2014 (has links)
This paper describes the design of the ventilation pressure cover of the demonstrator GFR. The first part is a brief research project GFR and the effects of temperature on the inside structures. In the following part is calculated balance heat losses within the pressure cover for three cases: non-insulated, fully-insulated and partially insulated surface of the reactor. The following is a design of a heat sink for partially insulated surface.
