Part of the history of psychology in Brazil since the formation of "ideas" to the psychological constitution of scientific psychology, and tries to recover the elements of this story in Goiás. State To do so, demonstrates the organization of undergraduate education in psychology in Brazil through data-and MEC, Register of Higher Education, Ministry of Education - MEC, the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Teixeira - INEP, the Brazilian Association of Education in Psychology - ABEP, the National Association of Search and Post Graduate Psychology - ANPEPP, the Brazilian Association of Higher Education Maintainers - ABMES, consultancy firms and educational institutions that teach the Psychology Course in the country. Finally, comes the creation of the Psychology Course in Higher Education of the State of Goiás, producing a historical view on the creation of the Pontifical Catholic University of Goias, the Office of Orientation to the Graduate, research and systematization of their history. / Esta pesquisa trata da institucionalização do Curso de Psicologia no ensino superior do Estado de Goiás, ocorrida em 1973, na Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás. Parte da trajetória da Psicologia no Brasil, desde a formação das ideias psicológicas até a constituição da psicologia científica, e busca resgatar os elementos constitutivos dessa história no Estado de Goiás. Para tanto, demonstra a organização do ensino de graduação em Psicologia no Brasil, através de dados do e-MEC, Cadastro da Educação Superior do Ministério da Educação - MEC, do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira - INEP, da Associação Brasileira de Ensino em Psicologia - ABEP, da Associação Nacional de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação em Psicologia - ANPEPP, da Associação Brasileira de Mantenedoras de Ensino Superior - ABMES, empresas de consultorias e instituições de ensino que ministram o Curso de Psicologia no país. Por fim, trata da criação do Curso de Psicologia no ensino superior do Estado de Goiás, elaborando um recorte histórico sobre a criação da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás, do Gabinete de Orientação à Pós-Graduação, na investigação e sistematização de sua história.
