La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar y determinar todos los aspectos prioritarios para la ejecución del diseño de un Centro Educativo Especial para niños y jóvenes con Discapacidad Intelectual. Para la elaboración de este documento se tomaron como premisas a desarrollar, el factor formativo, la data estadística, aspectos históricos de la tipología nacional e internacional, criterios normativos, investigaciones psicológicas y estados actuales sobre los Centros Educativos en nuestro país. En esa relación, se pudo determinar el perfil de cada usuario y sus necesidades, con la conclusión de llegar a un aspecto arquitectónico que podría presentar el Centro Educativo como énfasis del proyecto. Posteriormente, se realizó el análisis del lugar a nivel macro y micro, el cual logra determinar aportes favorables para el proyecto y de igual manera cómo el proyecto aportaría urbanísticamente y socialmente a su entorno. En esa misma relación se culmina llegando a una aproximación del diseño arquitectónico en base a todos los criterios ya aportados y analizados / The present research aims to analyze and determine all the priority aspects for the design execution of a Special Education Center for children and young people with Intellectual Disabilities. For the preparation of this document, the training factor, statistical data, historical aspects of the national and international typology, normative criteria, psychological research and current state of the Educational Centers in our country were taken as premises to be developed. In that sense, the profile of each user and their needs could be determined, with the conclusion of reaching an architectural aspect that the Educational Center could present as an emphasis of the project. Subsequently, the analysis of the place was carried out at a macro and micro level, which manages to determine favorable contributions to the project and in the same way, how the project would contribute urbanistically and socially to their environment.
