Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema "Vergleich der Krankenversicherungssysteme in der Tschechischen Republik und in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland". Zwischen den gesetzlichen Krankenversicherungssystemen der Tschechischen Republik und der Bundesrepublik Deutschland bestehen viele Unterschiede und Besonderheiten. Es zeigt sich, dass beide Systeme auch eine ganze Reihe von gemeinsamen Aspekten aufweisen. Die Arbeit besteht aus sieben Kapiteln, wobei sich jedes Kapitel einem besonderen Aspekt der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung widmet. Im ersten Kapitel wird eine historische Entwicklung erklärt, wobei im Unterabschnitt 1 dieses Kapitels die historische Entwicklung in der Tschechischen Republik behandelt wird, während der Unterabschnitt 2 sich der Entwicklung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland widmet. Das zweite Kapitel setzt sich mit der rechtlichen Regelung beider Staaten auseinander. Dieses Kapitel ist in zwei Teile untergliedert, wobei der erste Teil sich mit der Regelung in der Tschechischen Republik beschäftigt und der zweite Teil die Situation in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland beschreibt. Das dritte Kapitel befasst sich mit der Problematik der Krankenkassen in beiden Staaten. The thesis focuses on the application of Business Intelligence technologies in the insurance area, aiming concretely at their use in insurance companies. The aim is to introduce and summarize the various processes and information needs that are part of an insurance company and the ways that business intelligence tools can support and improve those processes. To achieve this goal I describe and present the internal functioning of the main processes in insurance companies emphasizing on data examples and the concrete use of BI. Furthermore, I point out two specific examples of Business Intelligence products, which are built and are aimed for the insurance industry. Specifically, I review InsFocus Business Intelligence product from InsFocus Insurance and SAS Business Intelligence from SAS. These two products are reviewed in terms of architecture, functionality and implementation process. At the end of the thesis, I've created a theoretical analysis for a Business Intelligence implementation in a fictitious insurance company. The benefit of this work is to present a comprehensive look at the advantages of Business Intelligence for insurance companies, at some specific products which relate to BI and insurance, and a look at the way that an analysis for a BI insurance solution is made.

The aim of my thesis is using a questionnaire to find out level of insurance, habits and preferences of respondents in selected areas of insurance. These results will also be used as input data for the analysis of the insurance products of selected insurance companies. Offers of insurance company will be assessed by several criteria. The formed options will be evaluate by multi-criteria methods for evaluation of alternatives. Insurance offer will be assessed on the basis of model examples using the above mentioned methods. There will be analyzed the products of the compulsory insurance, travel insurance and property insurance. The output of my thesis will be identification of the best deals in each type of insurance and also in general. In addition, there will be created a sequence of other insurance companies with their percentage ranking. It will also be evaluated the insurance company, which respondents considered as the best and also those for which they usually have their insurance contracts. Analyzed insurance companies will be selected on the basis of survey results.
