Para avaliação da limpeza se utilizou cortes histológicos, na qual a luz do canal foi dividida em quatro quadrantes de acordo com a face (DL, DV, ML, MV). Os resultados mostraram que de modo geral, os melhores resultados foram encontrados para a rotação alternada, sendo seguido pelo sistema Protaper (p<0,05). Os piores resultados foram encontrados para K3 (62,5% sujos), não havendo diferenças estatísticas àqueles encontrados para o sistema Race (45%). Na avaliação dos quadrantes, o mésio-lingual foi considerado o mais sujo para os dois níveis avaliados (p<0,05). Ao final, foi observado que nenhuma das técnicas testadas foi capaz de limpar com efetividade as paredes dos canais radiculares de incisivos inferiores. / The aim of this study was to evaluate the action of the endodontic files of the walls of the apical third of the root canal at 1 and 3mm of working length in lower incisors after preparation with files NiTi-Flex in alternate rotation, and continuing through use of systems of NiTi: K3, Race, Protaper. For evaluation of the cleaning was used histology, in which the light of the canal has been divided into four quarters in accordance with the face (DL, DV, ML, MV). The results showed that in general, the best results were found for the alternating rotation, and is followed by the system Protaper (p <0.05). The worst results were found for K3 (62.5% dirty), with no statistical differences to those found for the system Race (45%). In the assessment of the quarters, the ML was considered the most dirty at two levels evaluated (p <0.05). At the end, it was observed that none of the techniques tested was able to clean efficiently the with root canals walls of lower incisors.
