No. of bitstreams: 1 2006_dis_lmccosta.pdf: 1052467 bytes, checksum: 1791e26419f5248e34728b1b4da86647 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2006 / This paper aims mainly to design an income calculation model based in the concepts of the economic administration for the clothing producer companies, starting from the identification of the main economic events from their productive cycle, generating important, opportune and useful information for the improvement of the economic results of these organizations. The model was elaborated from a descriptive research applied to the productive process, to the main economic events of a clothing producer company of the Metropolitan Area of Fortaleza, State of Ceará, using the technique of direct observation, focused interviews and application of a questionnaire. A bibliographical research was used as theoretical support, initially on the clothing sector, in order to withdraw specific information on this productive sector. Later on, it was researched on the concepts and procedures of the Economic Administration-GECON, which was the basis for the configuration of the model, from a systemic vision of the clothing producer company, that has as application object the transactions of the main economic events of the activities of these companies’ productive cycle. The model demonstrates the physical, financial, economic and patrimonial impacts of each event/transaction, in the moment of its occurrence, considering as transfer price the cost of opportunity of the obtained resources and sacrificed by the several activities in the productive cycle of these companies. The model still demonstrates the accrued wealth in each event/transaction, evidencing the contribution of each activity and responsability area for the income of the company. The income calculated by the model was analyzed comparatively with the result obtained by the traditional accounting information system, according to the fundamental principles of accounting, used in the researched company, being evidenced qualitative differences between both, with positive prominence for the proposed model in the generation of precise and useful information for the improvement of the process of managerial administration. The conclusion is that the model of income calculation based in the economic administration is compatible with the operational reality of the clothing producer companies, it demonstrates the effective contribution of the transactions, activities and responsability areas to the global income of these companies and it generates important, opportune and useful information for the improvement of the economic income of these organizations. / Este trabalho tem por objetivo principal configurar um modelo de apuração de resultados fundamentado nos conceitos da gestão econômica para as empresas produtoras de confecções, a partir da identificação dos principais eventos econômicos que compõem seu ciclo produtivo, gerando informações relevantes, oportunas e úteis para a otimização dos resultados econômicos dessas organizações. O modelo foi elaborado a partir de uma pesquisa descritiva aplicada ao processo produtivo, aos principais eventos econômicos de uma empresa produtora de confecções da Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza, Estado do Ceará, utilizando-se da técnica de observação direta, entrevistas focalizadas e aplicação de um questionário. Utilizou-se como suporte teórico uma pesquisa bibliográfica, inicialmente sobre o setor de confecções, a fim de colher informações específicas sobre este setor produtivo. Posteriormente, pesquisou-se sobre os conceitos e procedimentos da Gestão Econômica-GECON, que fundamentou a configuração do modelo, partindo de uma visão sistêmica da empresa produtora de confecções, tendo como objeto de aplicação, as transações dos principais eventos econômicos das atividades do ciclo produtivo dessas empresas. O modelo demonstra os impactos físicos, financeiros, econômicos e patrimoniais de cada evento/transação, no momento de sua ocorrência, considerando como preço de transferência o custo de oportunidade dos recursos obtidos e sacrificados pelas diversas atividades no ciclo produtivo dessas empresas. O modelo demonstra ainda, a riqueza agregada em cada evento/transação, evidenciando a contribuição de cada atividade e área de responsabilidade para o resultado da empresa. O resultado apurado pelo modelo foi analisado comparativamente com o resultado apurado pelo sistema tradicional de informações contábeis, segundo os princípios fundamentais da contabilidade, utilizado na empresa pesquisada, evidenciando-se as diferenças qualitativas existentes entre ambos, com destaque positivo para o modelo proposto, na geração de informações precisas e úteis para a otimização do processo de gestão empresarial. Conclui-se que o modelo de apuração de resultados fundamentado na gestão econômica adequa-se à realidade operacional das empresas produtoras de confecções, demonstra a efetiva contribuição das transações, das atividades e das áreas de responsabilidade para os resultados globais dessas empresas e gera informações relevantes, oportunas e úteis para a otimização do resultado econômico dessas organizações.

The present work aims at to investigate the importance of the local productive arrangements of the textile and clothing sector to conceive employment generation, productive units and average remuneration to the towns of Petrópolis, Nova Friburgo and Cabo Frio, all of them located in the State of Rio de Janeiro, from the period of 1995 to 2004. The hypothesis that guides this work is that the local productive arrangements contribute for the growth and local development of form to increase the employment and the income and to reduce the local poverty. For this purpose, it was used the data from RAIS/MTE. The decision of studying textile and clothing sector is due to this sector is important to State of Rio de Janeiro, regarding the creation of employment. In spite of the crisis that it went though, the sector during the commercial opening of the decade of 1990, it still has important representation nowadays in the creation of employments, for the state transformation industry. For the research of local productive arrangements, that highlights the importance of the geographic proximity among the small and medium size companies to overcome the common production difficulties by the interaction and cooperation, it will be used, in the first chapter, the analyticteorical statement that deal with the evolutionist approach about the national and local system of innovation. The second one will contain the characterization of the local productive arrangements of the towns by means of employment relative data, establishment and remuneration and of recent research that has identified the interactions among the agents of the arrangements. The third one will compare the regions that are in the arrangements to bigger regions as the micro region, the state and the country; to identify possible productive gargles in the chain of the arrangements; to investigate the existence of arrangements impacts upon other sectors in the towns and the expansion of the activities of the arrangements for the close regions to the towns and to verify the evolution of the remuneration in the arrangements during the period in question. The last one will present the conclusions of the work. / O presente trabalho visa investigar a importância dos arranjos produtivos locais do setor têxtil-vestuário na geração de emprego, unidades produtivas e remuneração média para os municípios de Petrópolis, Nova Friburgo e Cabo frio, todos localizados no Estado do Rio de Janeiro, durante o período de 1995 a 2004. A hipótese que norteia este trabalho é que os arranjos produtivos locais contribuem para o crescimento e desenvolvimento local de forma a aumentar o emprego e a renda e reduzir a pobreza local. Para este propósito, utilizou-se os dados da RAIS/MTE. A decisão de estudar o setor têxtil-vestuário deve-se ao fato deste setor ser relevante para o Estado do Rio de Janeiro, no que corresponde à geração de emprego. Apesar da crise pela qual passou o setor durante a abertura comercial da década de 1990, ele ainda hoje possui representatividade relevante na geração de empregos para a indústria de transformação do estado. Para o estudo de arranjos produtivos locais, que destaca a importância da proximidade geográfica entre as empresas de pequeno e médio porte para superar as dificuldades comuns de produção por meio de interação e cooperação, será utilizada, no primeiro capítulo, o referencial teórico-analítico que trata da abordagem evolucionista sobre sistema nacional e local de inovação. O segundo capítulo conterá a caracterização dos arranjos produtivos locais dos municípios por meio de dados relativos ao emprego, estabelecimento e remuneração e de recentes pesquisas que identificaram as interações entre os agentes dos arranjos. O terceiro capítulo terá como objetivo comparar as regiões em que estão inseridos os arranjos com regiões maiores como a microrregião, o estado e o país; identificar possíveis gargalos produtivos na cadeia dos arranjos; investigar a existência de impactos dos arranjos sobre outros setores nos municípios e a expansão das atividades dos arranjos para regiões vizinhas aos seus municípios e verificar a evolução da remuneração nos arranjos durante o período em questão.
