The aim of the thesis is to analyze the situation on Czech information system market, to predict future trends and to define specific solutions from the SME point of view especially.

The topic of the master thesis is focused on the design of information system which is designed on the base of the analysis of existing information systems available in the Czech Republic. This analysis is focused on finding uncovered areas. Evaluation of information systems is based on a multicriterial selection analysis, which can specify a minimally covered area. The aim of the master thesis is to show undiscovered possibilities of information systems maintaining the various types of information. The first part is focused to characteristics of information systems, its kinds and types. This part is focused to architecture and to methods of information systems design, too. The second part is focused on analysis of the existing information systems. The aim is to identify areas that are not sufficiently covered. The third part is focused on design of an information system based on the analysis of uncovered areas in the first part. In the last section is documentation of created an information system.

This diploma thesis is focused to design, implementation and deployment of a Document Management System in company Xterway, a.s. Thesis is divided into four parts. The first part contains theoretical background necessary for realization. Analysis of current state of the company and its information system is provided in the second part. The last part is dedicated to realization itself followed by an assessment of the achieved results. The new system should simplify work for employees and reduce maintenance costs.

The aim of this diploma thesis is an analysis together with an assessment of the current state of the information system of the selected company, with the subsequent proposal of specific solutions. One of the proposed changes is devoted to the issue of the process of calls for payment of invoices. These specific solutions should lead to the optimization of the selected process and the improvement of the current state of the system.

The thesis is focused on the description of the method for the selection of the information system for the company KOPS spol. Ltd. The work is based on theoretical knowledge for a proper understanding of the issue. In the next part, an analysis of the current state of the company is performed, while monitoring the factors influencing the company and especially the information system. The last part describes the procedure for selecting a system and the possibilities of its implementation to the company.

The diploma thesis focuses on information systems analysis and assessment of a chosen company. After results evaluation based on this analysis, a proposal will be made on how to convert the former information system into a new one. This proposal will be described from an economic point of view at the end of the thesis as well.

The paper focuses on a company which is currently in a difficult situation because of the escalation of problems with established information system. The company must also confront the problems with the introduction of a new program supporting core business processes. The only IT company employee often gets in the situations he is unable to solve practically or because of little time time. The aim of this work was to analyse established information system, identify its weaknesses, where there are risks and propose measures to improve and eliminate the identified risks. Own analysis of the information system through interviews with selected staff is followed up with questionnaire methods of ZEFIS portal. After finding the gaps and analysis of the identified risks the measures to eliminate the risks, recommendations for improvement and correcting the shortcomings of the system have been proposed.

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the current state and proposal for modifications of information system for a company in construction business. First part introduces basic terms from the field of ICT, second part describes analyzes of current state of company’s ICT and the last chapter focuses on proposal for modifications of current ICT that are based on results of previous analyzes.

This thesis deals with the analysis of the ALUMA ČS, s.r.o. company information system, which then serves as the basis for several designs, created to improve the current situation. These designs are the key part of this work. The theoretical part of this work focuses on explaining the given issues, mainly ERP systems and related areas. The practical part focuses on the aforementioned analysis, which deals with processes, IT equipment and systems used in the company, as well as on the designs for the information system.

Mississippi’s Blackland Prairie has been reduced below 10% of pre-Columbian extent, with few conservation practices in place. To determine efficacy of current restoration practices, plant species at remnant sites were compared with those at restoration sites. Analyses using multivariate statistical approaches revealed no generalizable patterns among four available remnants versus two available restoration sites. Thus, the aim of this project shifted to evaluating methods of identifying Blackland Prairie remnants or potential restoration sites. Location data for Blackland Prairie plant species and potentially informative environmental variables were used to develop geographic information system (GIS)-based habitat models. The best models were selected for validation against a second set of data collected from random points on public lands across the survey region. Validation surveys also were used to explore trends in predictive success and to aid in increasing accuracy through inclusion of other variables. Models incorporating soil characteristics had the highest predictive success.
