The concept of the investigation of accidents at job and the problems of the investigation of accidents at job in Lithuania and in foreign countries are analyzed in the theoretical part of the work. In the practical part of the work Lithuanian regulations of investigation of accidents at job are compared with the documents which regulate the investigation of accidents at job in Great Britain, Canada, Russia Federation and France. In proceedings of comparing analysis we intended to ascertain how the interests of the workers are protected during the investigation of accidents at job. To reach the aim, we made the analysis of the questionnaire results. The research and comparing analysis of legal documents confirmed the hypothesis arguably, that regulations of the investigation of accidents at job and account do not enough protect the interests of the workers during the investigation in Lithuania.

Contribuições para aperfeiçoamentos em um método de classificação de tipos de erros humanos com base na investigação de acidentes na construção civil

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo principal identificar oportunidades de aperfeiçoamento de um método de classificação de tipos de erros humanos de operadores de linha de frente. Tais oportunidades foram identificadas com base no teste do método em acidentes em canteiros de obras, um ambiente no qual ele ainda não havia sido aplicado. Assim, foram investigados 19 acidentes de trabalho ocorridos em uma construtora de pequeno porte, sendo classificados os tipos de erros dos trabalhadores lesionados e de colegas de equipe que encontravam-se no cenário do acidente. Os resultados indicaram que não houve nenhum erro de 57,9% dos trabalhadores para os quais o método foi aplicado, constituindo evidência de que as causas estavam fortemente associadas a fatores organizacionais ao invés de fatores comportamentais ou cognitivos. O estudo ainda apresenta recomendações que facilitam a interpretação das perguntas que constituem o método de classificação de tipos de erros. / This study aimed to identify major opportunities for improving a method of classification of errors types of front- line workers. Such opportunities have been identified on the basis of testing the method in accidents at construction sites, an environment in which it had not yet been implemented. Thus, we investigated 19 occupational accidents occurred in a small-sized construction company, classifying the errors types of both injured workers and crew members who were at the scene of the accident. The results indicated that there was no error of 57,9% of workers for which the method was applied, providing evidence that the causes were strongly linked to organizational factors rather than cognitive or behavioral factors. The study also presents recommendations to facilitate the interpretation of questions that constitute the method of classification of types of errors.

The diploma thesis Influence of alcohol on road traffic accident rate in the South Bohemian Region by comparison of the years 2008 2012 is aimed at comparing the influence of alcohol on road traffic accidents in the districts of the South Bohemian Region in the period 2008 2012 as well as outlining the effects of road traffic accidents due to alcohol with regard to partial circumstances of particular accidents (according to accident type, accident effects, age of the perpetrators of accidents) in the years 2008 2012. The comparison was based on police statistics of road traffic accident rates of the Regional Police Headquarters for the South Bohemian Region, the Road Traffic Inspectorate in České Budějovice. The thesis attempted to perform a survey of the problems related to accidents caused by driving under the influence of alcohol. The theoretical part deals with two spheres connected with alcohol-related road traffic accidents. The practical part focuses on the effects of the accidents which happened in the South Bohemian Region in the years 2008 2012, and on the effects of accidents caused due to alcohol in the South Bohemian Region in the years 2008 2012.
