This diploma thesis examines changes, which the Czech-German Future Fund went through during its almost 20 years of functioning. The first part the author dedicated to theoretical concepts, which shed light on study of the Czech-German Future Fund. These theoretical concepts are reconciliation and public diplomacy. Thereafter are in tis thesis described efforts to compensate victims of National Socialism in Czechoslovakia and in the Czech Republic. This part of thesis is followed by description of the Czech-German Future Fund and its history. Based on this German-Czech Declaration of Mutual Relations and their Future Development of 1997 was the fund's mission to compensate victims of National Socialism, who didn't receive a compensation until then. The fund fulfilled this mission after 10 years of its function and also went through by many changes during almost 10 years of its functioning. The author describes these changes on which is based description of the project policy development of Czech-German Future Fund. After that the diploma thesis concentrates on changes in individual fund project groups, which are supported by the fund. In the following thesis we studied the development of performance motivation of pupils and its possible mutual connection with external evaluation according to relation norms. In the theoretical part we deal with scientific solutions of terms as performance motivation and relation norm. Mainly we concentrate on the analysis of the so called process model of performance motivation and on the analysis of types of relation norms. We also investigate in detail the issues of genesis of fear and anxiety of individuals during performance activities. We also occupy ourselves with the issues of causal attributions and different perspectives of term range of internal and external motivation. Subsequently, we made causal links between theoretical solutions and school performance. In this part we refer in particular to works of Heckhausen and Rheinberg. In the practical part we present a research, which is focused on the search for links between the use of individual relation norms in pedagogical situations of a teaching lesson and the development of performance motivation of pupils. In the research we took advantage of combination of quantitative and qualitative investigation. This master thesis deals with the affair Spiegel from 1962 and the Czech Television-Crisis from the turn 2000 and 2001. Both cases are compared by the conceptual approach of democratic consolidation from the Juan Linz's and Alfred Stepan's work The Problems of Democratic Transition and Consolidation (Baltimore, 1996). The analysis aims to find out whether German Federal Republic in 1962 and the Czech Republic on the start of the third millennium fulfilled the first three Linz's and Stepan's criteria of a consolidated democracy. The theoretical chapter highlights some of alternative approaches and discussions about democratic consolidation as an analytical tool in comparative politics.
