Studium přechodu ze stadia otevřené do stadia uzavřené pórovitosti při slinování pokročilých keramických materiálů / Study of transition from open to closed porosity stage during sintering of advanced ceramic materials

Spusta, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
Tieto teoretické výpočty boli porovnané s experimentálnymi dátami z literatúry a dátami z experimentálnej časti diplomovej práce s úspešnou zhodou pre kubické systémy (spinel a kubický oxid zirkoničitý).

Transparentní polykrystalické keramiky pro balistické a vysokoteplotní aplikace / Transparent polycrystalline ceramics for ballistic and high-temperature applications

Malík, Petr January 2015 (has links)
Alumina based transparent ceramic bodies were prepared within this diploma thesis by the gel casting process followed by presintering to closed porosity stage with subsequent hot isostatic pressing. The problematic drying of large bodies was solved by means of careful temperature and relative humidity control and by osmotic drying. Almost perfectly dense ceramics were achieved thanks to colloidal processing of TM-DAR and TM-UF ceramic powders providing a final structure with grain size of 381 nm, resp. 302 nm. High real in-line transmission of 72,3 % was achieved at wavelength of 632,8 nm and thickness of 0,8 mm. Among mechanical properties high values of hardness HV10 = 22,5 GPa, fracture toughness KIC = 3,99 MPam0,5, Young’s modulus E = 400 GPa a bending strength o = 494 MPa were achieved.

Vrstevnaté keramiky připravené metodou termoplastické koextruze / Core-Shell Ceramic Structures Prepared by Thermoplastic Co-Extrusion Method

Kaštyl, Jaroslav January 2015 (has links)
In the doctoral thesis, the bi-layer ceramic bodies with core-shell geometry were prepared by thermoplastic co-extrusion method and for these composite bodies the mechanical properties were studied. For study of co-extrusion and mechanical properties were designed two composite systems. First system ZTA-A combined the dense core ZTA (zirconia-toughened alumina) and the dense shell Al2O3. Second system ZST-Z consisted of porous core and dense shell made from ZrO2 for both cases. In the thesis, the rheology of ceramic thermoplastic suspensions and their mutual influence during co-extrusion was studied. Subsequently, the debinding process and sintering were studied, and based on the optimization of all process steps were obtained defect-free bodies with core-shell geometry. The mechanical properties (elastic modulus, hardness and bending strength) were determined for sintered bodies. To estimate the stress path in the core shell bodies loaded in bending, the relationship considering different elastic moduli of the core and the shell was used. For bodies of ZTA-A system was increased the strength in comparison with monolithic bodies of the individual components. Thus, bodies with high surface hardness of shell from Al2O3 and moreover having high fracture strength in bending were obtained. The effective elastic modulus was decreased for bodies of ZST-Z system up to 25 % in comparison with the elastic modulus of dense monolithic samples. The same effective modulus of elasticity was possible to achieve with core-shell bodies while maintaining significantly higher fracture strength than monolithic porous bodies or pipes.

Termofyzikálne a elektrické vlastnosti keramík na báze illitu / Thermophysical and electrical properties of illite-based ceramics

Csáki, Štefan January 2018 (has links)
CSÁKI, Štefan: Thermophysical and electrical properties of illite-based ceramics. [Doctoral thesis]. Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. Faculty of Natural Sciences. Charles University. Faculty of Mathematics and Physics. Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Libor Vozár, CSc. (Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra), doc. Ing. Patrik Dobroň, PhD. (Charles University). Nitra & Prague, 2018. 107 p. Illitic clays are of special importance in the ceramic industry. Therefore, a deep knowledge of the thermophysical processes, as well as the electric properties, is of special importance. The illitic clay originated in Northeastern Hungary was used in this thesis. The reactions, occurring during firing, were studied using thermal analyses (Differential thermal analysis, Thermogravimetry, Thermodilatometry) and special attention was paid to the measurement of the electrical conductivity (both DC and AC). Up to 250 řC, where the removal of the physically bond water (PBW) takes place, the dominant charge carriers were the H+ and OH- ions. After the PBW was removed, Na+ and K+ ions became the dominant charge carriers. During dehydroxylation (450 - 750 řC) H+ and OH- ions were freed from the illite structure, which supported the electrical conduction in the samples. At ~ 970 řC glassy phase appeared...

Římská a pozdně antická keramika v antické Thrákii, vybrané soubory z Jambolského regionu / Roman and Late Antique Pottery from Ancient Thrace, Selected Assemblages from the Yambol District

Tušlová, Petra January 2020 (has links)
Three pottery assemblages from the Yambol District were processed in this thesis to enrich our knowledge about the Roman and Late Antique pottery material in Ancient Thrace. The first, and most abundant assemblage, is from the Roman vicus called Yurta, which is located near the village of Stroyno and dated from the 1st /2nd c. AD till the Late Antiquity. This assemblage is substituted by different pottery classes which give us bases for identifying the variability of the pottery material and the different wares and fabrics in the area. In addition, it represents the main material for statistics and for a quantitative comparison of individual classes. The second assemblage includes 19 complete vessels from two burial mounds in Palauzovo, dated to the 2nd -3rd c. AD, and gives a comparative sample for the settlement contexts as well as a basis for studying the ways in which pottery was modified for special burial purposes. The last set of 57 vessels comes from a closed context dated to the end of the 6th c. AD, which was found in a collapsed house at the Dodoparon hillfort, rising above the village of Golyam Manastir. It represents a unique set of finds from the Late Antiquity, which is well dated and preserved. The three pottery assemblages are all different, each with a distinct character, which...
