This thesis deals with the design of the front wheel hub and upright of Formula student car. First component is a short search on Formula Student event and comparing diverse structures of upright for use in both racing and road cars. It also includes design of hub and upright in the CAD program and computational model of the upright created in FEM program specifically for stress analysis in selected conditions. It also includes optimization of the overall proposal.

Experimentální výzkum pískování v kontaktu kola a kolejnice / An Experimental Research of Sanding in Wheel/Rail Contact

Presented master's thesis is focused on the experimental research of the sanding parameters in order to improve adhesion in the contact between wheel and rail. Sanding is the application of the sanding material directly in the wheel/rail contact. It is still common, most effective and traditional way how to deal with low adhesion problem, which is mainly caused by environmental contaminants. Research is important for the better understanding of the sanding process and also provides data, which are necessary for it's optimization and efficiency improvement. Newly developed twin-disc machine was used to carry out the presented experimental research. The influence of common contaminants on the adhesion is investigated, considering various operating parameters. Different amount of the applied sand is used to increase adhesion in the contaminated contact at various slip and rolling speed. Results show, that there is the amount of the sand, from which no significant adhesion increase occur. Obtained findings and the results presented in this thesis will be used to optimize sanding system, which will contribute to reduce cost associated with sanding and low adhesion.

Verification of the method is performed by measuring of the Formula Student Dragon II. Measured data are processed by algorithm for calculating compiled in Matlab software. The final section describes a concept the measurement of the suspension flexibility on the UADI device.

<p>Impulsni generator predstavlja jedan od najvažnijih delova bežičnog<br />primopredajnika. Pored toga što treba da generiše signal čiji<br />spektar zadovoljava odgovarajuću spektralnu masku, generator treba da<br />bude što jednostavniji, zauzima malu površinu i ima malu potrošnju.<br />Naučni doprinos ove doktorske disertacije predstavlja sedam novih<br />konfiguracija ultra-širokopojasnih impulsnih generatora<br />projektovanih u CMOS tehnologiji, od kojih su tri fabrikovane u<br />0,18 &mu;m UMC CMOS procesu. Prvi dizajn je zasnovan na principu<br />kombinovanja kratkotrajnih impulsa, sledeća tri sadrže ring<br />oscilator, naredna dva impulsna generatora koriste princip<br />filtriranja, dok poslednje novo rešenje obezbeđuje BPSK kodovanje<br />korišćenjem dva ring oscilatora.</p> / <p>Pulse generator is one of the most important parts of a wireless transceiver.<br />Besides generating a signal which spectrum has to satisfy corresponding<br />spectral mask, the pulse generator should have topology as simple as<br />possible, consume low power and occupy low die-area. Scientific contribution<br />of this dissertation are seven novel IR-UWB pulse generator architectures<br />designed in CMOS technology of which three are fabricated in 0.18 &mu;m UMC<br />CMOS process. The first design is based on combining very short pulses, the<br />next three contain a ring oscillator topology followed by two pulse generators<br />that use the filtering approach, while the last new solution enables BPSK<br />modulation by employing two ring oscillator topologies.</p>

<p>U doktorskoj disertaciji su prikazani elektronski sistemi razvijeni za<br />obradu signala sa senzora promenjive izlazne impedanse, koji se mogu<br />koristiti za različite vrste senzora. Razvijen je prototip mernog sistema<br />pomoću diskretnih komponenti. Merenja izvedena na ovom prototipu dokazala<br />su da se sa izabranom mernom metodom mogu dobiti zadovoljavajući rezultati<br />merenja. Projektovanjem analognog dela elektronskog sistema u CMOS<br />tehnologiji smanjene su dimenzije i potrošnja elektronskog sistema za obradu<br />signala, a poboljšane su merne karakteristike u odnosu na izvedu u<br />diskretnoj tehnologiji.</p> / <p>In this thesis, an electronic system for signal processing of sensors with variable<br />impedance has been developed. It can be used with different types of sensors. A<br />prototype of electronic system has been developed using discrete components.<br />Measurements made with this prototype have proved that applied measurement<br />method can be used to obtain satisfying measurement results. By designing analog<br />parts of electronic system in CMOS technology, dimensions and power consumption<br />of the electronic system for signal processing and measurement characteristics have<br />been improved, comparing to the prototype developed using discrete components.</p>

<p>U radu je razmatran problem dizajna i minimizacije rekurzivne<br />Bulove formule konstruisane za proizvoljnu Bulovu funkciju y:BN<br />&rarr;B.<br />U cilju rešavanja ovog problema, predstavljene su dve algoritamske<br />heuristike za minimizaciju rekurzivne Bulove formule. Minimizacija<br />rekurzivne Bulove formule vrši se korišćenjem regularnih poredaka<br />pozitivnih proizvod termova. U disertaciji je dokazano kako je ova<br />regularnost poredaka zapravo potreban i dovoljan uslov da željena<br />Bulova funcija y bude korektno predstavljena rekurzivnom Bulovom<br />formulom konstruisanom na osnovu tih poredaka. Pokazano je i kako<br />predstavljeni algoritmi daju bolje rezultate za veći broj instanci<br />problema u poređenju sa algoritmima dostupnim u literaturi.</p> / <p>In this thesis, the problem of design and minimization of recursive Boolean<br />formula, based on an arbitrary Boolean function y:BN<br />&rarr;B , is considered. As a<br />solution of a problem, two heuristic algorithms that minimize the length of<br />recursive Boolean formula, were presented. Minimization, itself, is done by<br />using regular orders of positive product terms. In the thesis it was proved that<br />the regularity of orders represents necessary and sufficient condition for<br />correct representation of Boolean function y by recursive Boolean formula<br />based on such regular order. Developed algorithms are compared with other<br />heuristic algorithms for recursive Boolean formula minimization, available in<br />the literature, and it is shown how algorithms proposed in this thesis provide<br />better results for more problem instances.</p>

Návrh souboru zařízení pro seřízení podvozku závodního automobilu / Design of alignment and chassis setup equipment

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem zařízení pro měření parametrů podvozku závodního vozidla (sbíhavost/rozbíhavost, příklon/odklon, světlá výška vozu, rozložení hmotnosti), které následně slouží pro jeho seřízení. Úvodní teoretická část uvádí přehled nejdůležitějších parametrů podvozku, které mají podstatný vliv na chování a ovladatelnost vozu a které jsou tak nejčastěji předmětem zájmu. Následující kapitola shrnuje metody a zařízení, které se dnes pro měření parametrů podvozku využívají a uvádí jejich výhody a nevýhody. Předposlední kapitola teoretické části je věnována obecným doporučením pro měření parametrů podvozku vozidla a jeho seřizování. Poslední kapitola teoretické části uvádí požadavky na zařízení, jehož návrh je předmětem této práce. Úvod praktické části práce je věnován popisu konstrukce dvou navržených variant pro měření parametrů podvozku vozidla. Následující kapitola pak popisuje přípravu a průběh měření s využitím navržených souborů zařízení. Další kapitola je věnována výběru snímačů a zařízení pro měření. Závěr této kapitoly pak shrnuje přibližné celkové náklady na výrobu obou navržených variant. Poslední kapitolou je napěťová a deformační analýza navržené podpěry automobilu, která podepírá automobil namísto jeho kol. Závěr diplomové práce shrnuje dosažené cíle a zároveň uvádí návrhy a doporučení dalšího vývoje navržených zařízení.
