This work is focused on an analysis of current programming period 2007 -- 2013. The objective is to provide an operational programme overview, both their specifics and survey. Special attention is paid to Regional Operational Programme NUTS 2 Central Bohemia. In the practical part there are summarised (following the research) the results of the absorption capacity of the region and the function of euromanagers. In conclusion there is an analysis of a succesful project in Central Bohemia, carried out through Common Regional Operational Programme from the last programming period.

Significant changes occurred in economic realm by declaration of Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia on March 16, 1939, and its integration into German economic sphere. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the response of then society, primarily professional public (economists, lawyers, and politicians), and its appraisal and reception of the situation. The investigation is conducted on the basis of selected articles published in magazine 'Obzor národohospodářský' (Economic horizon) from 1938, 1939, 1940 and 1941, when the publishing was interrupted. The thesis should contribute to a depiction of protectoral economy in the subjective perception of the authors of the magazine.

The aim of my diploma thesis is the analysis of traffic accident quantity on roads (highways and motorways) of Central Bohemia. My personal contribution to this topic is the particular analysis of accident frequency within Central Bohemia between 1994 and 2007. Nobody has dealt with such an analysis in frame of this region until the present. In the theoretical part of the thesis, basic definitions are expounded from the theory of traffic accident frequency and the partition of traffic accidents according to different criteria, and the classification of roads. There is a situation described in Central Bohemia for each type of classification for mentioned years. The practical part of the thesis is divided into three sections, which analyze problems from different points of view. In the first part, there are detected reciprocal relations between basic indicators of traffic accident frequency in the particular districts of Central Bohemia. The next part targets the analysis of time series of causes and results of traffic accidents within this region, in particular months of mentioned years. The aim of this part is to describe the trend of time series by acceptable methods and to estimate their supposed development in the following 12 months. In the third and final part of the thesis, the analysis of less commonly considered causes of traffic accidents are performed, as is directional conditions, status of road surface, visibility, weather conditions and transversal setting of communication. The target of this final part is to verify whether these factors significantly influence the number of traffic accidents on different types of roads.

The thesis deals with economic and social cohesion of the European Union. It describes historical development and current programming period including operational programmes, their goals and priorities. The main objective of the thesis is, based on the analysis of strategic documents of cohesion regions of Central Bohemia and Central Moravia, to evaluace the capability of drawing financial means from EU structural funds.

In the theoretical part of the thesis there are the basic terms defined: before all definition of tourist destination according to different points of view, understanding destination as a product, defining the term destination marketing that includes marketing management, concept, analysis, segmentation, marketing strategy, marketing mix and marketing control. The analytical part of the thesis is particularly dedicated to the destination South Bohemia that is understood as the administrative territory of the South Bohemian region. The analysis is based on general and economic characteristics of the region and characteristics of tourism based on statistical data. The marketing study follows, structure of which is based on the marketing concept theory, that is defined in the theoretical part of the thesis. In conclusion suggestions for improvement and recommendations are formulated resulting from study of available documents, information, statistics and conducted analyses.

The master thesis called "Antisemitism in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia" is describing, based on historical events, progress of solution of the Jewish question in the occupied Czech lands during the Second world war. In the first chapter the author describes the main events of the Jewish minority life in the protectorate. Jews had lost all their personal rights and discrimination in this regard was almost unbearable. German Nazism developed and at the same time realized "final solution" of the Jewish question. This term signified euphemistic name for the physical extermination of the Jewish nation. The second chapter devotes to the analysis of the press. The most important part of the whole thesis introduces three collaborationist periodicals from protectorate, which were chosen by author. They are called: Zteč (Assault), Árijský boj (Arya fight) and Národní politika (National politics). Construction of the Terezin concentration camp and subsequent life in it describes the last and the third chapter. This ghetto meant an important part of the whole Jewish question and its solution. Although the transports to eastern areas took place here, some Jews arranged better life through cultural activities and illegal educational activities. One of the specifics of Terezín was also the role that the camp played in the Nazi propaganda.

Anlässlich des 600. Todesjahres von Jan Hus (~1372–1415) war das 9. Bohemicum Dresdense dem sprachlichen und kulturellen Erbe des tschechischen Reformators gewidmet. Ausgerichtet wurde das Bohemicum Dresdense wie schon in den vorangegangenen Jahren von der Professur für Slavische Sprachgeschichte und Sprachwissenschaft am Institut für Slavistik der TU Dresden und der Brücke/ Most-Stiftung. Es fand im Rahmen der 17. Tschechisch-Deutschen Kulturtage statt. In insgesamt sieben Vorträgen fragten die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer nach der Bedeutung von Jan Hus für die Kultur- und Sprachgeschichte Böhmens und des Tschechischen sowie seiner Rezeption in verschiedenen künstlerischen und didaktischen Genres – in der Musik ebenso wie im Kinderbuch.

The Renaissance painting decoration of the castle Český Krumlov during the reign of the last Rožberks Český Krumlov is one of the biggest and most historically important castle our country. Since the 14th century was the property of a significant Czech family - lords of Rožmberk. During the rule of humanistic educated lords of Rožmberk, in second half of the 16th century, was conducted reconstruction of the castle into Renaissance chateau. The Renaissance spirit of the castle has preserved to this day. The idea is evident both in the exterior and in the interior. The painter's decoration of the castle was closely linked to the owner of the castle and the entire dominion, who showed his prestige, political power or ancestral tradition. The painter's decoration of the castle during the last Rožmberks was also the main theme of this diploma thesis. Diploma thesis Anti-Nazi resistance in Rychnov nad Kněžnou region from 1939 to 1945 focuses on anti-Nazi resistance during the Second World War, specifically in eastern Bohemia, in Rychnov nad Kněžnou region. The introductory part of thesis briefly summarize situation in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and anti-Nazi resistance in general, its main centers including leaders and related events. In the next chapters, the thesis watches situation in Rychnov nad Kněžnou region from 1939 to 1945. Records from chronicles will serve as a main source for these chapters. Next topic is dedicated to resistance groups which operated in this area. Especially their activities, persons and cooperation with other resistence groups. Here, among other things, the written memories of members of the resistance will be used as a source. Next, thesis studies situation after year 1945 - the one of the sources of activity of resistance groups there are written confirmations which were discovered after the end of the Second World War. Established target of the thesis is to introduce organization of anti-Nazi resistance in this area, Rychnov nad Kněžnou region, in the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia.
