This project concentrates on the technology of manufacturing of the plastic socket outlet. It consists of two parts, where the first part is a literature study. Here are described the characteristics of the materials and their specifications. Further on is described basic knowledges technical methods of injection and some other technologies. The second section consists of the right proposal of the material. Further on in this section is described technological treatment. Mechanical function and its design and technical drawing are a part of this second section. As a final result is a brief comparison of the technology between the injection or pressing into molds. Herewith is also included a simplified financial budget calculation.

The goal of the diploma thesis is to verify the possibilities of obtaining the casting of the femur component of the customized knee replacement using the technology of Rapid Prototyping and investment casting. To get the wax pattern it is used the method of fabrication the silicon rubber mould. Its optimalization from the wax pattern quality, economy of production and cooling speed aspects is important parameter at repeated production of the wax patterns.

At the end of my work is this aim economically reviewed and compared with alternative form of structural design.

The reaction between the product and chemical substances plays a key role when choosing the right material. Therefore polypropylene is chosen for its high chemical and mechanical resistance. The given material is defined by technological data and technological process is proposed. A single-purpose injection mould for an existing injection machine is proposed for manufacturing the plastic mixing body tube corpus.

This master thesis deals with design of injection moulding technology for plastic holder of carbon brushes made of polycarbonate labelled Lexan 945A. The injection is performed into injection mould with hot runner system. Initially there is general study related to plastics and injection moulding technology. Further the study continues with injection moulds with hot runners and ends with computer analysis of injection moulding process. The designed injection mould for production of plastic holders is three-plate, double cavity mould with four hot nozzles and one parting plane, where one of the plates serves for mounting of the hot runner system inside the mould. This work contains part of the drawing documentation and item list of the injection mould. The selected injection moulding machine is Arburg Allrounder 370 U labelled 700-290 according to EUROMAP.
