Dílo básníků ze skupiny kolem Kamila Bednáře / The work of poets from the group around Kamil Bednář

BRDEK, Zdeněk January 2007 (has links)
Disertation ``The work of poets from the group around Kamil Bednář{\crqq} deals with a group of writers, which formed between 1930s and 1940s around the mentioned poet, who was considered to be the spokesman of his generation, which was labelled as ``protectoral{\crqq}. The author will try to explain the historical background of this group`s work in the context of Czech literature of the 1940s. The author will also study the crisis of this group during World War II, its gradual decline in the post-war period and its definite end after the takeover in February in 1948. The author will be concerned only with those poets, and their poetic and theoretical work, who became involved in the discussion about the young generation and its poetry. The author will try to clarify the idea and the conception of {\clqq}naked human``, which implied, that it may be considered to be the program of young arrtists, or, at least, to be their mutual base. The author will mainly focus on three most interesting poets {--} Kamil Bednář, Hanuš Bonn and first of all, Jiří Orten. The author will take notice of the similarities, differences and also the existential phenomena, which are usually connected with the group around Kamil Bednář. Jiří Orten will appear to be the most tallented , the most inspirative and probably also the closest to philospophical existentialism. There are special chapters devoted to Jarní almanach básnický (Spring poetic almanac), which is a generational performance of young poets; Kritický měsíčník (Critical monthly) {--} a magazine, edited by Václav Černý, which provided space for the poets around Kamil Bednář and Ohnice (White Charlock) , which was the last act of the fading group. The author will also mention briefly the penetration of existentialism to Bohemia.

Radiolyse alpha de solutions aqueuses d'acide nitrique / Alpha radiolysis of aqueous nitric acid solutions

Garaix, Guillaume 09 December 2014 (has links)
Nitric acid is widely used in spent nuclear fuel reprocessing, especially in PUREX process (Plutonium and Uranium Refining by Extraction). This process is based on liquid-liquid extraction of Uranium (+VI) and Plutonium (+IV). Plutonium is separated from Uranium by addition of Uranium (+IV) in nitric acid, stabilized by hydrazinium ion (N2H5+). However, the radiolysis of nitric acid, result of the presence of alpha emitting radionuclides, generates in solutions free radicals and molecular species. These species are capable of modifying the redox state of actinides and reacting with hydrazinium ions. The aim of this work is to reveal the chemical and physical-chemical parameters that may modify the oxidation states of Uranium and Plutonium in nitric acid solutions. Among these parameters, the role of nitrous acid and hydrogen peroxide, generated by radiolysis of the nitric acid, is very important. The objective is to redefine the kinetics of formation of hydrogen peroxide and nitrous acid during alpha radiolysis of nitric acid / sodium nitrate, as a function of three parameters: acidity, nitrate concentration and the linear energy transfer of ionizing radiation. It was shown that the formation of hydrogen peroxide decreases with increasing nitrate ions concentration and increases greatly with the acidity of the solution (until it reaches a stationary value for an acidity of 0.2 mol L-1). The formation of nitrous acid is promoted by the increase the nitrate ions concentration. It was observed that G(HNO2) varies according to two trends. The first one in dilute nitrate solutions and the second in concentrated nitrate solutions. These two trends reflect the direct and indirect radiolytic phenomena, modifying the mechanisms of formation of HNO2. The study of acidity has showed that the formation of H2O2 and HNO2 is promoted by increasing the concentration of hydronium ions, until it reaches a steady state value for an acidity close to 0.2-0.5 mol L-1.Furthermore, the effects induced by ionizing radiation (,,,…) on formation yields of H2O2 and HNO2 were studied. It has been shown that the linear energy transfer (LET), between 0.2 keV µm-1 (characteristic of a gamma radiation) and 130 keV µm-1 (characteristic of the alpha radiation emitted by radioactive decay of actinides), has a significant influence on formation yield of H2O2 and HNO2. It was observed that the impact of nitrate ions on the formation yield of H2O2 becomes more pronounced when the LET increases. Conversely, the impact of nitrate ions which promote the formation of HNO2, decreases when the LET increases.Based on these results, two parametric equations were developed. The advantage of this parameterization is to predict the radiolytic yields formation of H2O2 and HNO2 according to chemical conditions ([NO3-] ≤ 4 mol L-1 and 10-5 mol L-1 ≤ [H+] ≤ 4 mol L-1) and the nature of the beam (LET between 0.2 to 130 keV µm-1).The purpose of this study is to predict the quantity of H2O2 and HNO2 formed by radiolysis of HNO3/NaNO3, during the different steps of the nuclear fuel reprocessing.

Pospíšilová, Anna January 2020 (has links)
1z1 Abstract: In this thesis, on selected examples of everyday life, I deal with the issue of reso- cialization of former political prisoners from the 1950s after their return from prison. On selected biographical narratives, I point to personal ways of reintegra- tion into society, whose main ideology was the cause of their persecution. From their memories I choose the basic sphereas of life such as family, personal and social life, employment and the issue of rehabilitation not only at the personal but also at the social level. A special chapter is also devoted to the descendants of former political prisoners, whose memories illustrate the view of everyday life after their imprisonment and the subsequent return of their parents and thus re- veal the real impact of persecution activities of the communist regime in Czecho- slovakia.

Robustness Mechanisms of Temporal Cell-Fate Progression in C. Elegans

Ilbay, Orkan 16 December 2019 (has links)
Robustness is a ubiquitous property of biological systems, however, underlying mechanisms that help reinforce the optimal phenotypes despite environmental or physiological perturbations are poorly understood. C. elegans development consists of four larval stages (L1-L4) and well-characterized invariant cell lineages, within which the heterochronic pathway controls the order and timing of cell-fates. Environmental or physiological stress signals can slow or temporarily halt larval stage progression; remarkably, however, temporal cell-fate progression remains unaffected. We show that two widely conserved signaling pathways, insulin and TGF- β, that regulate C. elegans larval stage progression in response to starvation and crowding, respectively, also regulate a rewiring of the heterochronic pathway so that cell-fates remain temporally anchored to appropriate larval stages. This rewiring is mediated by the nuclear hormone receptor DAF-12, and it involves a shift from the reliance on let-7-family microRNAs to the reliance on LIN-46 for proper downregulation of the transcription factor, Hunchback-like-1 (HBL-1), which promotes L2 cell-fates and opposes L3 cell-fates. LIN-46 (which is a homolog of bacterial molybdopterin molybdenum transferase (moeA) and human gephyrin) post-translationally inhibits HBL-1 activity. LIN-46 expression is repressed by the RNA-binding protein LIN-28 at the early stages to permit HBL-1 activity and hence the proper execution of L2 cell-fates. Our results indicate that robustness mechanisms of temporal cell-fate progression in C. elegans involves 1) coordinated regulation of temporal cell-fates and larval stage progression and 2) collaboration between translational regulation exerted by microRNAs and post-translational regulation exerted by LIN-46 to coordinate HBL-1 downregulation with stage progression.
