Assim, partese do pressuposto de que a leitura escrita ? fundamental para o processo de ensinoaprendizagem, al?m da relev?ncia de se levar em considera??o a viv?ncia do aluno. Cabe destacar que os livros paradid?ticos s?o materiais que praticamente n?o s?o utilizados pelos docentes de Geografia. Embora saibam da exist?ncia deles no contexto escolar e de suas possibilidades de uso, ainda n?o conseguem inseri-los no ambiente de sala de aula. Dessa maneira, foi elaborado um material a partir das dificuldades apresentadas pelos alunos do 6? ano do Ensino Fundamental e seus respectivos professores de Geografia. Produziu-se, assim, uma obra na qual a personagem Beli narra sua aventura com seus amigos L?o e Tajuba pela Regi?o do Serid? Potiguar. No percurso dessa jornada, os alunos leitores v?o descobrir aspectos econ?micos, culturais, sociais e hist?ricos da Regi?o do Serid?, que dar?o subs?dio para o professor trabalhar os conte?dos e conceitos da Geografia abordados no 6? ano do Ensino Fundamental. Levaram-se em considera??o os atrativos que agu?am os alunos na escolha de um livro, al?m de usar uma linguagem menos formal. Para o educador, preparou-se uma proposta metodol?gica a partir do enredo do livro, mas cabe ressaltar que n?o ? um receitu?rio, posto que a melhor estrat?gia ? aquela que conduz o aluno ao aprendizado, de modo que o professor ? quem conhece a realidade dos seus alunos. Por fim, esperamos que esse livro contribua para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem da Geografia, incentivando os docentes a utilizar esse recurso did?tico. / This paperwork intends to present the drafting and creation of the supplementary book O Castigo Veio a Cavalo, an educational material that allows Geography teachers to work on matters such as place and scenery throughout a local point of view. Therefore, the main assumption is that both reading and writing are fundamental to the teachinglearning process. It is also imperative that we take in consideration the student?s life experiences. It is worth highlighting that supplementary books are rarely used tools by Geography lecturers. Although they are aware of such existence and its capabilities in the scholar context, they are yet not certain of how to insert them inside classroom walls. Hence, because of the difficulties shown by both lecturers and students of the 6th grade Elementary School, this book. In this work, the main character Beli tells her adventure along with her friends, L?o and Tajuba, across the Serid? Potiguar region. In their journey, the readers are going to learn about the socio-economic and cultural aspects of the area. This will make easier for the teachers to work on Geography?s most important subjects and concepts with their 6th grade students. In the elaboration, it was also took in consideration what students consider the most appealing aspects of a book. The storyline presents a methodological proposal for teaching, but it?s necessary to highlight that such a proposal is not mandatory. The best strategy in apprenticeship is the one who leads the students towards learning, and the teacher, who knows his students better, is the one who should choose it. Finally, we hope that this book plays a role on the teaching-learning process and stimulate the lectures to use it as a didactic tool.

Potiguar?. De modo geral, este estudo objetivou elaborar um material textual (livro paradid?tico), voltado aos estudantes de geografia do Ensino Fundamental II e do Ensino M?dio, acerca dos grandes reservat?rios artificiais dessa regi?o e do munic?pio de Jucurutu, abordando sua import?ncia no ?mbito da disciplina de Geografia. De maneira espec?fica, o presente estudo teve por escopo: elaborar uma s?ntese hist?rica da constru??o desses reservat?rios; descrever as principais caracter?sticas socioambientais do Serid? Potiguar, relacionando com a constru??o dos reservat?rios artificiais nessa regi?o, e caracterizar os grandes reservat?rios artificiais e seus usos. A elabora??o desse material demandou a realiza??o de uma pesquisa descritivo-explorat?ria com abordagem quantitativa e teve como aportes metodol?gicos a pesquisa de campo, bem como a pesquisa documental e bibliogr?fica. O livro est? estruturado com uma introdu??o e cinco cap?tulos, um para cada reservat?rio em estudo. A introdu??o discute as caracter?sticas geogr?ficas do referido espa?o; o primeiro cap?tulo versa sobre o a?ude Itans; o segundo cap?tulo sobre o Gargalheiras; o terceiro sobre o A?ude Santo Ant?nio (Sabugi); o quarto sobre a Barragem de Boqueir?o de Parelhas e o quinto sobre a Barragem de Oiticica, que se encontra em fase de constru??o. Durante a escrita dos referidos cap?tulos, buscou-se uma linguagem mais acess?vel ao p?blico alvo (alunos do Ensino Fundamental II e Ensino M?dio), transformando linguagens t?cnicas e acad?micas de livros, relat?rios, disserta??es e outros textos em uma linguagem did?tica e adequada ao n?vel de ensino ao qual se direciona este material. O contexto atual vivido pela regi?o semi?rida brasileira, especificamente pelo o Serid? norte-rio-grandense, de crise no abastecimento de ?gua devido ? estiagem que assola esse espa?o desde o ano de 2012 at? 2017, torna evidente a import?ncia que a tem?tica Recursos H?dricos (Grandes Reservat?rio) assume nas viv?ncias dos alunos, afetando diretamente o cotidiano dos mesmos. Assim, o livro aproxima os discentes desse conte?do geogr?fico vivenciado dia-a-dia, bem como contribui para a ci?ncia geogr?fica e para o desenvolvimento do ensino de geografia no ?mbito do estado do Rio Grande do Norte. / This study was engaged in the production of the paradidactic book entitled "Large reservoirs of Serid? Potiguar". The general objective was to elaborate a textual material (paradidactic book), aimed at the students of geography of Elementary School II and High School, about the large artificial reservoirs of Serid? Potiguar and the municipality of Jucurutu, addressing its importance within the scope of Geography. The specific objectives were: to prepare a historical synthesis of the construction of those reservoirs; to describe the main socio-environmental characteristics of Serid? Potiguar, relating them to the construction of artificial reservoirs in this region, and to characterize the large artificial reservoirs and their uses. The elaboration of this material demanded the accomplishment of a descriptive-exploratory research with quantitative approach and the methodological contributions the field research, as well as the documentary and bibliographical research. The book is structured with an introduction and five chapters, one for each reservoir studied. The introduction discusses the geographical characteristics of Serid? Potiguar; the first chapter is about the Itans weir; the second chapter about the Gargalheiras; the third on the Santo Ant?nio (Sabugi); the fourth about the Dam Boqueir?o from Parelhas and the fifth about the Oiticica Dam, which is under construction. In the writing of these chapters, a language more accessible to the target public (students of Elementary School II and High School) was sought, technical and academic languages of books, reports, dissertations and other texts were transformed into a didactic language and adapted to the school level to that this material is destined. The current reality of the Brazilian semi-arid region, specifically of the Serid? norte-rio-grandense, In the context of crisis in the water supply due to the drought that ravages this space in the years 2012 to 2017,e vidences the importance that the theme Water Resources (Large Reservoirs) takes on in the students' experiences, directly affecting their daily lives. Thus, the book brings the students closer to this geographic content lived day by day, as well as contributes to geographic science and to the development of geography teaching in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
