Deste modo, para que as empresas se mantenham no mercado devem se tornar cada vez mais competitivas. Nesse contexto, admite-se a logística como um fator capaz de reduzir incertezas para a obtenção da vantagem competitiva de uma empresa, em função de as atividades logísticas exercerem influência no nível de serviço ao cliente e de produção; neste último caso, especialmente aquelas de suporte à manufatura que estão diretamente ligadas ao fluxo de materiais entre as fases de fabricação. Dada à relevância do papel da logística de apoio à manufatura para alcançar um nível produtivo e competitivo maior, e da expressividade do setor moveleiro na economia do país, torna-se importante um diagnóstico do desempenho logístico. Por isso, o objetivo principal deste estudo é analisar o desempenho logístico de apoio à manufatura de empresas moveleiras. O levantamento e análise de indicadores de desempenho das atividades logísticas de apoio à manufatura possibilitou indicar variáveis mais adequadas ao objeto de análise, as quais foram utilizadas na aplicação do método DEA (Análise Envoltória de Dados) ao estudo de caso o município de Aparecida de Goiânia – GO, a fim de medir o desempenho das empresas moveleiras em termos de eficiência técnica. O processamento do modelo numa ferramenta computacional resultou em escores de eficiência relativa das empresas, permitindo separar e comparar as unidades eficientes e ineficientes; e, também foram geradas tabelas que mostram os pesos das variáveis, os benchmarks das empresas ineficientes e as suas metas para se tornarem eficientes. A análise descritiva de outras variáveis das atividades logísticas e das características produtivas e estratégicas das empresas complementou a análise. Os resultados viabilizam a identificação das atividades logísticas com déficit de desempenho, para cada empresa ineficiente, e dos principais pontos de melhorias. / The furniture sector in Brazil presents significant values for the country's economy and generates thousands of jobs; however, in recent years this industry has also suffered the impact of the current moment of economic instability, even with the incentives received from the government. In this way, so that companies remain in the market they must become increasingly competitive. In this context, logistics is assumed as a factor capable of reducing the uncertainties to obtain the competitive advantage of a company, due to logistic activities influence the level of customer service and production; in the latter case, especially those that support the manufacturing that are directly linked to the flow of materials between the manufacturing stages. Given the importance of the role of logistics support to manufacturing to achieve a higher level productive and competitive, and the expressiveness of the furniture sector in the country's economy, becomes important a diagnosis of logistics performance. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to analyze the performance of logistics to support the manufacture of furniture companies. The survey and analysis of performance indicators of logistical support activities for manufacturing enabled indicate variables are more appropriate to the object of analysis, which were used in the application of method DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) to the case study of the city Aparecida de Goiânia – GO, to measure the performance of furniture companies in terms of technical efficiency. The processing of the model on a computational tool resulted in scores of relative efficiency of enterprises, allowing to separate and compare the efficient and inefficient units; and, were also generated tables that show the weights of the variables, the benchmarks of inefficient firms and their targets to become efficient. The descriptive analysis of other variables of the logistic activities and of the productive and strategic characteristics of companies complemented the analysis. The results allow the identification of logistics activities with a deficit of performance, individually for each inefficient company, and the main points of improvements.
