Quantifica??o de Fases Cristalinas de Incrusta??es em Colunas de Produ??o de Petr?leo pelo M?todo Rietveld / Quantification of crystalline phases of scale in columns of oil production by Rietveld Method

This work aimd to quantify the crystalline phases of scale through the Rietveld method. The study was conducted in scale derived from columns production wells in development and recipients of pigs. After collecting samples of scale were performed the procedure for separations of inorganic and organic phase and preparation to be analyzed at the X-ray Laboratory. The XRD and XRF techniques were used to monitor whether identifying and quantifying crystalline phases present in the deposits. The SEM technique was used to visualize the morphology of the scales and assess their homogeneity after the milling process. XRD measurements were performed with and without milling and with or without the accessory spinner. For quantify crystalline phases the program DBWStools was used. The procedure for conducting the first refinement was instrumental in setting parameters, then the structural parameters of the phases in the sample and finally the parameters of the function profile used. In the diffraction patterns of samples of scale observed that the best measures were those that passed through the mill and used the accessory spinner. Through the results, it was noted that the quantitative analysis for samples of scale is feasible when need to monitor a particular crystalline phase in a well, pipeline or oil field. Routinely, the quantification of phases by the Rietveld method is hardwork because in many scale was very difficult to identify the crystalline phases present / Incrusta??es s?o precipitados de compostos qu?micos de natureza inorg?nica que podem se acumularem em colunas de produ??o e equipamentos de superf?cie. Este trabalho tem como objetivo quantificar as fases cristalinas de amostras de incrusta??o atrav?s do M?todo Rietveld. O estudo foi realizado em produtos de incrusta??o oriundos de colunas de produ??o de po?os em desenvolvimento e recebedores de pigs. Ap?s a coleta das amostras de incrusta??o, realizou o procedimento de separa??o da fase org?nica da inorg?nica e prepara??o das amostras para an?lise. As t?cnicas de difra??o de raios X e espectrometria por fluoresc?ncia de raios X foram utilizadas para monitorar identificando e quantificando as fases cristalinas presentes nas incrusta??es. A t?cnica de microscopia eletr?nica de varredura foi utilizada para visualizar a morfologia das incrusta??es e avaliar sua homogeneidade ap?s o processo de moagem. Na difra??o de raios X foram realizadas medidas com e sem moagem e com e sem utiliza??o do acess?rio spinner. Para quantifica??o das fases cristalinas utilizou o programa DBWStools 2.25. O procedimento para realiza??o do refinamento consistiu primeiramente em ajustar par?metros instrumentais, em seguida ajustou-se os par?metros estruturais das fases contidas na amostra e por ?ltimo os par?metros da fun??o perfil usada. Nos padr?es de difra??o das amostras de incrusta??o observou-se que os melhores resultados foram os das amostras que passaram pela moagem e que utilizaram o acess?rio spinner. Atrav?s dos resultados obtidos, percebem-se que a an?lise quantitativa para as amostras de incrusta??o ? vi?vel quando se deseja fazer o monitoramento de uma determinada fase cristalina em um po?o, duto ou campo de petr?leo. Rotineiramente, a quantifica??o de fases pelo M?todo Rietveld ? mais trabalhoso visto que em muitas incrusta??es houve grandes dificuldades de identificar as fases cristalinas presentes

Estudo sobre a redu??o aluminot?rmica de Ta2O5 e TiO2 usando descarga de c?todo oco

Ta2O5 and TiO2 powders were mixed with Al in a planetary mill, using different milling times. A thermal analysis study (DTA and TG) was carried out, in order to know the temperature to react both the mixtures. Then, these mixtures were submitted to a hollow cathode discharge, where they were reacted using aluminothermic reduction ignited by plasma. The product obtained was characterized by XRD and SEM, where it was proven the possibility of producing these metallic particles, different from the conventional process, where metallic ingots are obtained. It was verified that the aluminothermic reduction ignited by plasma is able to produce metallic powders of Ta and Ti, and a higher efficiency was observed to the process with Ta2O5-Al mixtures. Among different microstructural aspects observed, it can be noted the presence of metallic nanoparticles trapped into an Al2O3 matrix, besides acicular structures (titanium) and dendritic structures (tantalum), which are a product characteristic from a fast cooling / No presente estudo foram utilizados dois ?xidos met?licos, Ta2O5 e TiO2, visando a obten??o de part?culas de Ta e Ti met?licos, por meio da redu??o aluminot?rmica com igni??o a plasma. These properties are dependents of the composition, crystallite size and production process. The high energy milling of the powder of W-Cu produces an dispersion high and homogenization levels with crystallite size of W very small in the ductile Cu phase. This work discusses the effect of the HEM in preparation of the W-25Cu composite powders. Three techniques of powder preparation were utilized: milling the dry with powder of thick Cu, milling the dry with powder of fine Cu and milling the wet with powder of thick Cu. The form, size and composition of the particles of the powders milled were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The X-ray diffraction (XRD) was used to analyse the phases, lattice parameters, size and microstrain of the crystallite. The analyse of the crystalline structure of the W-25Cu powders milled made by Rietveld Method suggests the partial solid solubility of the constituent elements of the Cu in lattice of the W. This analyse shows too that the HEM produces the reduction high on the crystallite size and the increase in the lattice strain of both phases, this is more intense in the phase W / Os comp?sitos de Tungst?nio/Cobre (W-Cu) s?o geralmente usadas para fins el?tricos e t?rmicos como dissipadores de calor e condutores el?tricos, devido as suas excelentes propriedades de condutividades t?rmica e el?trica. Essas propriedades s?o dependentes da composi??o, do tamanho de cristalito e principalmente do processo de fabrica??o. A moagem de alta energia de p?s W-Cu produz alto n?vel de homogeneiza??o e dispers?o com cristalitos de W muito fino na fase d?ctil Cu. Este trabalho discute o efeito da MAE na prepara??o dos p?s comp?sitos W-25Cu. Tr?s t?cnicas de prepara??o dos p?s foram utilizadas: moagem a seco com p? de Cu grosso, moagem a seco com p? de Cu fino e moagem a ?mido com p? de Cu grosso. A forma, tamanho e a composi??o das part?culas dos p?s mo?dos foram observadas por microsc?pio eletr?nico de varredura (MEV). A difra??o de raios-X(DRX) foi usada para observar as fases, par?metros de rede, tamanho e microtens?o dos cristalitos. A an?lise da estrutura cristalina dos p?s mo?dos de W-25Cu feita pelo m?todo de Rietveld sugere uma solubilidade s?lida parcial dos elementos constituintes do cobre (Cu) na rede do tungst?nio (W).
