Robustní detekce klíčových slov v řečovém signálu / Robust detection of keywords in speech signal

The master thesis is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on methods of analysis and detection of speech signals. In the practical part the system for isolated word recognition was created in Matlab. The system is speaker independent separately for men and women. Also two speech databases were created for further use in the aircraft cockpit. Tests and evaluations were performed even with added noise.

This master‘s thesis deals with a detailed description of sleep apnea and methods of detection of sleep apnea. The first part of the work is focused on the physiology of sleep, sleep apnea itself, its distribution, symptoms, risk factors and treatment. The next part of the work deals with polysomnographic examination and methods for analysis of polysomnographic data. The last part is devoted to the procedure design for detecting sleep apnea by using only one kind of signal and by using more kinds of signals, implementation of these proposals, their testing on real data, evaluating the detection performance and comparing the results with data available in the literature.

This work deals with design and construction of unstable double wheeled Segway-like vehicle built for human personnel transportation and its smaller scaled clone developed for control algorithms testing. The smaller machine is controlled via Joystick and PC. This work was conducted in team consisting of three students. Individual goals are described in chapter „Stanovení cílů práce“. The beginning of the work deals with researching any similar projects concerned with this topic, especially with sensors and control algorithms used. Further, the work describes the process of choosing used electronics and its parameters. One of the problems faced during the work was the pitch angle of the vehicle base calculation - algorithm of the angle calculation had been designed by students of several world universities. The principle of how it works was studied and then tested by simulations and practically in the following chapters. Further on, the work deals with platform‘s parameter estimation, at first the testing platform made of wood, followed by the final platform made of aluminium. Parameter estimation was realized by using the multifunctional I/O card Humusoft MF 624 for PC. Part of the work deals with the final control algorithm on the dsPIC microcontroller implementation, sensor‘s outputs calculation and calibration algorithm design. Since the vehicle is built for human personnel transportation, implementation of certain safety algorithms was necessary. These algorithms should be able to detect possible fail states and prevent the driver from losing control over the vehicle in order to prevent any injuries.

LTE-Advanced/WLAN testbed / LTE-Advanced/WLAN testbed

This thesis deals with the investigation and assessment of communication standards LTE-Advance and WiFi (IEEE 802.11n/ac). The EVM error parameter is examined for each standard. To work with different standards a universal workplace have been proposed (testbed). This universal workplace serves for adjusting transmitting and receiving means and for processing signals transmitted and interpreted. Matlab was chosen for this work, through which only control devices such as generators and analyzers from Rohde & Schwarz. This workplace also measures the coexistence of these standards. At the conclusion of this thesis, different coexistence scenarios were designed and evaluated through testbed results.
